I like the plan here and that there is a community starting to buy up the coins here for a specific purpose.

how long until the foundation is formed? is it going to have some sort of DAC status or is there a plan for a legal business operation?

what amount of the coins is the foundation going to hold? is there a goal for this at these early days?

have recently seen a community take over of gamerscoin (now gamecredits GMC) and successfully has been turned into a foundation that is developing gaming software. the coin is starting to get somewhere with value and less dump for small profit. i feel that something similar is happening here with energy?

also, is there more of an outlined plan somewhere for distribution to everyday users that are home electrical producers and how they are rewarded? i find the diagram posted above a little confusing.

I'm buying EnergyCoin from the beginning and never sold one coin for my own profit.
The coins I have are for EnergyCoin Cooperation I'm founder of that and I have now a Co-founder helping me with the development of the EnergyCoin Ecosystem.

Energycoin seems to promote an image of future new source of green energy , what is great idea, because the general environment situation and the care for alternate protective new resources of energy. I admit i wish to get more specific informations about the reward system...

The gereral idea of my plan is: Rewarding energy saving and producing green energy on houses. With smart meters that contribute to energy-conscious behavior much CO2 polution can be prevented. The CO2 saving has value for businesses and government and we want to start in a in a neighborhood of Bitcoincity Arnhem together with 2 businesses and government cooperation and hopefully much more partners join us soon or later. The wallet with the reward coins (EnergyCoin and maybe some other) can directly spend in much shops in Arnhem because we have a smart P2P exchange idea part of the business plan we work on. The 20% of EnergyCoin I have collected go into the Energy(Coin) Faundation and are not for rewarding before the cheap supply dries on the exchanges and not below price of 1KWH in the Netherlands per EnergyCoin. If the reward program is a succes we copy that tho other towns. So the potential for EnergyCoin is gigantic but I have to convince a lot of important people.

Thank you for pointing that. I have it on my to do list making a great start post and changing the link to the new GitHub and downloads.
This EnergyCoin project is what I do in my free time so that is not optimal.
Have now some extra help from enthusiastic people so we fix that in a few days I hope.

Timely article: http://bravenewcoin.com/news/bitcoin-and-sustainable-mining/ mentions Solarcoin, which in my opinion is only knocking at the door to the potential that these types of initiatives have for change. Energycoin smart grid is much closer to end user than solarcoin can get, distribution of solarcoin is ambiguous, there needs to be Proof of Generation development in a Kilowatt hour based system.
