We can all consider that but we want to make a first step with Dutch situation.
For a reward system we need reliable measure data from households and green energy production facilities.
How to work that out for analog meters is not clear yet for me but maybe you have suggestions?
For off grid production we need measure data for rewarding and trading the guarantee of origin is than not possible.
The green energy is not available for trading because it is off the grid. So off grid is not part of the EnergyCoin Ecosystem and I see no possibilities yet to include off grid situations. Or do you have any ideas how other people can profit from that? Maybe within the off grid there is a sub grid and then you can trade with the green energy in the community with EnergyCoin if you like.
I hope you understand there must be boundaries for the EnergyCoin Ecosystem but if you see possibilities you can create your own application. We want for the Dutch situation use open source and you can use that to make your own improvements if needed.

i see the off grid solution looking like a reward for not drawing it. the trade then comes from the unused energy moving towards a different form; such as refueling stations for e-vehicles. people need not be left out because they don't provide to their neighbour, but be included for not drawing extra on top what their other neighbour who doesn't yet produce takes.

glad its open source, thinking that solutions can be developed for many communities once we see what you can do for the Netherlands.

Two days ago it was 19 nodes now 11 so keep your wallets online if you can.
The situaltion with that each solarpanel or wind tubine has its own wallet running on a PI or other suitable device is not there yet!

 Been running my wallet on a PC. I would rather not burn more energy ( power ) then I have to in order to keep my wallet running and I figure I might as well see if the newer version is up for the Pi before putting the Pi back online.

Sure we gonna foreward with this project and more people are behind me yet then when I started my job as "Manager Operations EnergyCoin".
We had several meetings with potential business partners who are really intrested working together with us.
The only problem is we have no serious budget to create the EnergyCoin Ecosystem yet but in a few months or weeks that can be changed.
Just have some patience and see what happend. I give not up becouse I invested a large amounth a BTC to bring this where we stand with the new wallet, block explorer and other maintanance I do on daily basis.
