I wish I could give some hopeful news but can only announce the EnergyCoin Foundation has a partner that holds a big share.
The wallet address is tagged as "Partner EnergycoinFnd".

More details about who they are when we have a product together.
That is available in Q3 and we have a target of 6000 users on our platform for that product before Q4.

If you keep in mind that what we now are developing has a huge impact than ENRG is a real bargain on Bittrex!

I remember I had some ENRG coin in a wallet that I could not update. I still have what I believe to be all the original files and back ups but I cannot access them. Is there a fix for this? Do I download the new updated wallet? Don't even really know the proper questions to ask to be honest but any help is welcome.

I assume you have the original wallet.dat on your PC.
Then just download the new wallet and bootstrap from the start post.
Unzip the files in c:\users\<your-account>\AppData\Roaming\EnergyCoin
Then put a copy of your original wallet.dat in EnergyCoin folder.
Then start the client and wait for full sync.
If you see no balance then goto help -> Debug window -> console -> type

This coin is listed only on Bittrex and volume from last few months is pretty low if they will make delist because of low interest of the people than where we will be able to trade this. You should do some efforts to make it list on other exchange and make effective marketing to raise interest on new people to invest in it.

Thank you for your suggestion Digithusiast. I remember our paid dev offers such feature but the price he asked in 2015 was too high for me.
We shall consider this for the next update.
This week the business partner of EnergyCoin Foundation comes to Holland and we make a plan connecting the www.ring-ring.nu App on the EnergyCoin blockchain token platform www.EnergyExchange.eu with API. Hope available for the public before Q4 and we also make steps for administration solar field for our LivingLab www.zonnedorpen.nl.

For me, it is unbelievable that people sell ENRG for less than $ 0.10 for what I know we are building for the Green Blockchain Economy.

edit: I can't give guarantees for the listing on Bittrex but we have contact with them and I see no danger yet for delisting.
Volume and order book is healthy and if they delist there are much other exchange where we can start trading after we start marketing for our products. Marketing will not start before we have a product.

That means about (985.500 Pos ENRG /121,999,258 Total ENRG * 100/13 = 6.4 % intrest rate for Pos-rewards.
The reward is good, so maybe you are right that less ENRG is online.

Now 17% staking, so te % interset rate is about 5% I guess.
I work on an experiment for Fair Pos with StakeCoin.
The idea is that not the size of your wallet is leading but that you are 24/7 online and part of the network.
For ENRG you need a very big wallet to get some Stake and there must be a better solution for that.
Energytransition is about fair share and give power to the people and a more fair distribution of the profits a great goal!
I hope I can contribute to the EnergyCoin ecosystem with my vision.
I hope on positive feedback and cooperation between ENRG and STK communities.
