I've been in communications with CryptoVote recently, he's demonstrated enthusiasm for this project and clearly knows a thing or two about coding so I've granted him write access to the bitbucket repository.

There has also been an offer from one of the community for a marketing project which I'm discussing atm, will reveal details as soon as we have a plan worked out.

There are 27 masternodes and the staking difficulty is over 160,000 right now.  So about 350,000 coins are held by staking or running masternodes.  With 840,000 total coins in circulation, 40% are either staking or running a masternode.  I think that is a good percentage but not sure.  How does that compare to other coins?

I'm not seeing any issues syncing on my client..

Do you have "Map port using UPnP" checked in
Settings > Options > Network tab

Are the necessary ports open in your firewall and router (I think mainly 30137)

So just a quick question because I'm a SLING supporter and would love to see this coin make some really big moves in the future so how is the new wallet coming along? I seen the screenshots and it looks pretty sick so far and can't wait until it's released Also are you planning on putting categories so we don't run into the problem like with the marketplace right now where some more childish people and immature people can post ads like BIG ASS DILDO.  I mean if we have categories then they would be forced to post BIG ASS DILDO under say the "Adult toys" section or whatever. Anyways that is just a thought that I had Cheers

Absolutely!  It will be technically possible to add a new category using the current wallet but they won't be visible with the new HTML wallet.

I need to compile a list of Marketplace categories and their sub-categories.  Any ideas on how we would generate this data?  I don't want to snipe the data from eBay or Amazon.  Maybe we should make it where you can import a data file (I use the JSON format) that will load the available categories.  Coming to a consensus on acceptable categories is going to be difficult. The new HTML wallet would come with a basic set of categories that the user could override with a customized set that they can import.

Just add porn, medicine, and misc.  (hunting rifles/target guns could be under sporting?)
And maybe remove wanted.. unless people want to post wanted listings in there somehow, just for buyer/seller contacting

Not sure if it was just a typo,  
but you have "category": "Clothes + Acc",  listed twice

Maybe misc could just be grouped with  "category": "General",  ...  
"category": "General/Misc",  ?

Just minor suggestions, things to be sorted out I guess if people want.

        instead of the word porn,  use category name Sexual Health?
        That way it could include other things.

I am working on the HTML5 UI for listing an item within the Sling market.  Is anyone able to view the images related to a listing?  I tried on Windows and Linux but neither render the images in the Qt wallet.  I see the image URL are stored in the marketplace db.

Also, I think there should be a confirmation with a review step before submitting a new listing.

What would you recommend or what are you thinking of using for some type of filter
- like when your client would receive listings it would sort them locally or "make sure" they would be in somewhat appropriate categories?

Or is that a too difficult of a thing to do?

Maybe the filter could "learn" what is spam by what the user would be clicking as spam.. and throwing into a spam category?

New sling ui looks great. is it already integrated into the new wallet version? i have not updated the software yet.
