Here's a short new update video about the current state of spreadwallet development. I demonstrate the general behaviour of the explorer tabs, and a few of the commands that you can currently use. You can type the block_nr, with or without coin name. Right now it will just show basic block-header-data. (More to come soon) You can do a getaddr to ask a full node to inform you about the peers it knows (or has seen in the past. It will list the 100 most recent ones) You can do a ping on any IP. You can do a portcheck on an IP that will tell you which of the coins in your coin-list is running on that IP. Stay tuned for more. https://vimeo.com/200603212Still working on the podcast (and a dozen other things), don't worry.

No problem, glad you like it. Functionality is just an example (based on my own preferences and current needs), we can ofcourse add more functionality according to my patrons wishes. BTW, thanks to whoever sent me 2500 SPR 24 hours ago.

If not, would you collaborate with somebody to do the work?

Will this work in mainnet or only on your walled garden network? How does the client extrapolate block info from the other coins? Do you have a full node of each coin your tapped into? If so bitcoin has a chain size of over 50GB.. This will require a huge VPS and will cost quite alot. Will everyone be required to host a bitcoin blockchain when they run a service node? If not, where does the 'decentralisation' come in? Are service nodes even on your agenda anymore?

It's many things. You can read the announcement if you haven't yet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1045373.msg16085975#msg16085975Like any true research-project, the spreadwallet will keep evolving. But the key specification and goals I want to achieve are pretty much set in stone: 1) customizability 2) capable to work with multiple different coins 3) serves as testbed for servicenode research It will work with crowncoin too, why not. LMAO!

Not sure if serious offer, but I am looking for a way to sell all my SPR holdings, and go full patron mode from now on. This way I can become a "truly independent dev", which will be needed if we want to take the principles of decentralization serious, and I think it will also send a good signal! I always wanted to be more like a Bitcoin dev (greg maxwell, etc..) when it comes to how my work is funded, instead of having it done like an Altcoin Dev (e.g. evan duffield who is simulatenously dev and the biggest currency holder). https://chainz.cryptoid.info/spr/address.dws?ShutUpHxbuLdy22g9NE4afviUr2Cnqd68H.htm131850 SPR. I want to use this money to buy a few GPU models, hardware and lots of rapsberry pi's, which will be needed for the spreadwallet, spreadminer and my network-experiments. Also, another reason why I am doing this is: I can't claim to be working on a decentralized servicenode model (that doesn't favor big whales) while being a big investor myself. It would be a conflict of interest. A Masternode-Wealth-Redistribution-Scam similar to Dash (or mr.spread's implementation) will never happen with Spreadcoin, as I alluded here. I have no problem with rich people holding lots of SPR, but it would a "nightmare on centralization street" if those big whales controlled most of the servicenodes. How does 4 BTC sound? As an extra: you will become an insta-patron immediately forever, and I will send you any future preview version of all the tools I create (the first spreadwallet-previewversion to be released very soon). This is an open offer to everyone. What do you guys think? Good move? Bad move?

Not sure if serious offer, but I am looking for a way to sell all my SPR holdings, and go full patron modeRead as: "I have no confidence in my ability to dev this coin and make this profitable, thus I will try and bail at the top of the currently pitiful market. Please someone buy my coins so I can continue scamming my patrons.I hear that stonehedge is now writing crowncoin's whitepapers? Happy New Year everybody, Thanks for all of your support.
2017 is going to be a great year. The whitepapers are looking great and we can't wait to release them and the new wallet. Not long now.
Bwahahahaha! Where have I heard that before... it's like reading the same book twice. That's exactly what I am talking about. In such an environment with people trying to influence devs and the outcome of a coin (by controlling every aspect: whitepapers, interviews, dev funding) my independence is not an option, it's an absolute necessity. I will explain in more detail soon.

Let me add to this.
I think it's a good opportunity for a few reasons:
1) Most of this money is not even my money, but a donation that stonehedge made that I was supposed to use for dev work specifically. That's what I intend to do. I will buy Hardware specifically needed for the tools I am currently developing.
2) It's a good opportunity to switch to patron-only funding. If my funding is dependent on how happy my patrons are, then this will create a healthy feedback loop that will benefit all of us.
3) It does NOT BENEFIT those big-time investors that have been trying for a long time to control EVERY ASPECT of spreadcoin. And I mean literally every aspect of this coin.
4) It frees my mind, so that I can concentrate on decentralization.
BTW, nothing changes, I am just looking for a way to get rid of this money so I don't owe stonehedge any kind of favors.
Let me know your thoughts.

Why not explain your motives behind selling all your spread in full.
I just have, these are not even my SPR, doggy. Ask your "master" for more details.
