IMPORTANT

I have noticed something, you may like it or you may not, but it is what it is and it will change the POW phase.

As I previously said in one of the previous posts POW will end at block 89000, we are currently on block 39046 with 3.6million PKB in supply.

Because of the POS blocks we have now mined 1.6m PKB mined in 39k blocks, guesstimating this would give us the following: 1.6m * 2.2 = ~3.5m (a new estimated 5.5m POW supply, before burning the premine to 20%)

As I said in previous posts, we won't be forking the coin to manipulate the coin supply but I will obviously burn the premine down to 20% of the actual total POW coins to keep that inline with the original plan.

I would therefore say we are around 45% the way through POW ...

Thoughts? 

Fine by me. Thanks for addressing the burning of the premine in order to keep it at 20% of PoW coin supply. Hopefully this will leave you with enough discrete tokens to implement into a system (as I'm sure nobody wants to work out paying 0.00751982 PKB per 30 minutes of parking)

I love that I got into this coin when I did because now people are finally starting to realize that it's a good investment and has a solid good Dev behind it and that's what I like to see nowadays! Woop Woop

Dev, if you mean it real with this coin, please DON`T go Bittrex, as for long term projects it is a killer.

If you have a coin with longer development, you and users gets it to bittrex, day traders will do couple of p&d, then most of the coins will be in hands in long term investors, bittrex will delist it after couple of months based on low volume and basically kill it.

If you and we as a community want it on bigger exchange, it needs to be some, which is keeping listed coins long time, even the volume may fade in some periods.

Bittrex is just P&D exchange.

I do agree but unfortunately there isn't anything I can do to stop Bittrex from listing it.

Yes POW only has around 8-9days left (averaging 3000blocks/140k PKB a day).

Estimated PKB POW Total: 4.7m
Miners PKB: 3.7m
20% Premine:  around 1m

POS yearly distribution will be around 250k PKB a year

Just an update on the plan going forward for PKB, sorry I have been quiet here but things do not get done by posting daily updates here. Only purpose that would serve is to pump the coin.

POW will end in around 10k blocks, 50% look like they will be POS blocks so POW phase should only have around 450k PKB left to mine (5000 * 90PKB). Once we hit block 89000 I will recalculate the premine to 20% and burn the rest, posting the burn address here.

I will then have the actual figures to start contacting parking companies with more detailed information.

I am working on getting a trustless electrum style android wallet developed for ParkByte ready to be release in a month or so, this should contain a basic interface that integrates with the backend server to issue parking tickets. I will then have a basic working proof of concept so I can move forward with physically demonstrating how it works and signing up partners, allocating their share of the premine to them.

I have also realised that my ParkByte logo looks rubbish and have been sent a few different samples for a new logo. I am therefore opening this up on here by offering a 2500PKB bounty for the winning design, submissions must received by 15th June 2015. I would like to keep it simple, corporate looking and using the same blue colour as used on the parking/motorway signs here in UK (R0 G121 B193). Please email me your design at support@parkbyte.com, I will then collect them all and upload them for public a vote (I will have to think about how to stop multiple voting as i can see that might become an issue)
