I've just tested our MT4 installation and everything seems to be working, I do not get any proxy query. Maybe it is something with your internet connection?

 


it doesn't happen with other brokers installer, and yours looks diferent than the others. but it seams this is a problem related to installing mt4 under Linux with wine, like I do.

In this case you can access your SimpleFX account via MT4 from another broker. Just open MT4, choose File->Login to Trade Account:


fill your login and password and SimpleFX server credentials: live-mt4.simplefx.com

The site is great, however you will need to improve your interface a lot. It is still pretty confusing doing trade with your site. Opening orders is still very complicated. you will need to improve that part!

I used to trade on sfx but probably never again. UI is too complex. and for god's sake their spreads triple when there's volatility it's untradeable.

I use whaleclub.co now which has quite a great interface and importantly FIXED spreads although not many markets yet (I mostly trade BTC/USD and crude oil there). Also they have incredible support I can not say enough good things about them. jenny from @whaleclub if you're reading this, I love you.

I doubt Simple's spread ever gets as bad as 6.2 pips on EURUSD as is the spread on whale. lol

idk haven't traded forex there @capoeira i think eurusd is new. they reduce spreads after couple weeks.

EDIT: actually now that I think of it maybe that's why I been making bank with whaleclub's affiliate program. pays out 50%

I am afraid that they cannot provide more guarantees/collaterals while allowing people to deposit and trade pseudo-anonymously.
It's the same for BTC-e, nothing is asked but you don't have any guarantees/collaterals. If they go away, you cannot do anything about it.

Notice that exit scam can happen on regulated exchanges too. Not to mention bankruptcy or hacking.

all deposits and withdrawals are always being processed and there was never a situation that our clients funds got lost, hacked or stolen.
Deposits are also automatic, we require 1 confirmation so their duration depends fully on bitcoin network efficiency.
Withdrawals are indeed processed manually for security reasons and SimpleFX is not planning to automate them. Bitcoin will always be more vulnerable for hacking and theft than traditional currencies and banking systems, that is why SimpleFX is using manual withdrawals processing, to secure our clients funds.

Does SimpleFX allow single trades seeking multiple targets?

It's my understanding that if I anonymously deposit bitcoin I can anonymously trade that bitcoin against crypto/fiat pairs, i.e. BTC/USD or BTC/EUR. Am i correct or am I limited to trading only pairs like BTC/
LTC if I want to maintain anonymity? Would my withdrawals be only in crypto?

With that bitcoin now on my account, can I also then anonymously trade the fiat/fiat pairs, i.e. EUR/USD, GBP/JPY?
