If I google just the adress 0xe64C050379B6243c405E848DAd8d5Cb5CE380451  I get some results which link to different twitter accounts which are already closed.
At etherscan there are just 3 transactions. I wouldn't go along with that.
But if this is really true, then the price will go down even further after the distrubition.

They've gone.
Twitter is blocked and its been reported to Etherscan, but they took the coins and moved them to another account.

This is a good example of how decentralization and anonymity can rear its ugly head.
This kind of thing should be solved somehow, people can not be victimized like this.

Well..so much for mining....no surprise here however in that this unit popped up last spring at 5.3TH in mass, when they did not 'hide' their unit specs

when they dumped a mess on https://hyperpool.tech/. That also was at 5.3TH when we did the figures per unit and also the day that they

dumped them on (a Friday) and the hash rate went up 1/3....that day to my shock!

Anyway, they sure want the "moon" in prices for this beastie. Even if it does blake2b-sia and also KDA coin..it seems it is just 'overflow' and will probably

only profitably sell in the China market with cheap electricity. The USA tariff of 26.7% with import fee added and shipping is way out of reach for the rest of us.

I have asked sia-tech and folks on discord...but...to the best of my knowledge...you can make a sia storare node and such and play with it...but

there is not profit on the transactions ...even if you made your storage setup to test such..even with old used parts.

This seems to be simply a big data hall game...should they want to play...but mostly..IMHO...not getting much traction there either.

IMHO, unless ..their storage solution starts generating some money for people to actually start building such units..even if it is at a break

even point ..just to help the network....mininng and the amount of Siacoin out in the world ...supposedly in place for use by the storage medium.

as far as I know your solution to make a virtual drive could very well be the only option to get around what I state above

but I've heard nothing of such..you'd think they would promote such here on this thread if it had any kinda legs
 
anyway, not too hopeful on this coin..waiting for the 'supposed' altcoin pump, with the stablization of the BTC price at some higher level

I would also like to know this. The project has been stable for a long time in terms of marketcap, but it still has a lot of upwards potential.

What I am wondering is whether there is still a lot of development going on. Any potential good news coming up?

based on their roadmap published on trello, they categorised their mission as long/medium/short term and they have one column for released features. so we dont know exactly where they are now or what they are planning for the next couple of years. maybe you can get recent updates if you are active discord member.
but you can check their twitter account if you want to see their partnerships with other companies like Bitfrost Cloud and Skynet (partnership w/ gitcoin and open web). definitely, they have something going on. maybe they are not just active here in this thread to post those updates. they should at least give brief snapshots of whats happening here.

That is what everyone is eagerly waiting to sell the SIA coin when there is a pump in the market, the company should focus on developments and it will help us to increase the price of SIA coin, there are many people who are holding the coin since 2017.
