Sia coins have a very bright future in the field of distributed storage applications, and the project is moving in a very correct direction, and investors can look forward to the coin project.

I think Gitlab is more oriented around development teams and more productive than Github, and I think the development of Sia is moving faster with Gitlab.

Lets talk about the final SIA product, lets put the asic mining story in a second plan please

We need the final cloud decentralized product to ern real money, so, devs, please, do something

That is the part of the sia-tech plan that is unclear..they claim to have a network in place, by the time the ASIC's hit to

take on Amazon Cloud and such, but I see NO promotion or movement in that area at all.

Thus, without a viable network the whole works comes to a grinding halt. Without promotion or the fact the network

works and is up...if NO ONE (consumer) knows about it, even if it is 10c to $1 vs Amazon's Cloud...all will be moot.

Add a mess of ASIC's, most of which not being worth turned on, on top of the fact of the rest replacing GPU miners

that merge mine sia coin...with the next result of the rest of the ASIC's being turned off also.

Well, it all hinges on promotion and such of the decentralized cloud network...and I just don't see it arriving in time

to make any difference on the above. The loss of GPU merge miners to the ASIC's (cheerleaders for siacoin gone) then

the next result of 'the rest of' the ASIC's that were up ..trying to mine siacoin ..still can't make electric..and they are shut

off as well.

Just too damn quiet on all fronts...I think sia-tech realizes they have screwed up.

imo just buy more BTI and wait for SiaLibre to come out Wink weeeeeee

I still have a couple of miners running.
At merely 125 Satoshi per SC, I am not going to sell a single coin.

I still believe this is a promising project, hopefully, the Dev team will do something.

'

the catch is I can make more siacoin by just taking the $$$ I'd pay in electric and BUY siacoin then I could mine with the ASIC

+/- say 50c a day more with the obelisk is all.

makes  more sense to keep my PSU's for other uses and keep the units virgin in the box and just play that game in my mind

same amount of siacoin ...again more or less....

not sure I'm even going to do that much to promote the coin

i still suspect what obelisks do mine will blow out the GPU's and then own the network at an electric loss to mine..thus

the network they envision for cloud mining better be up in the next couple months or the ASIC's may go off as well....it all

has to blend together to pull this off IMHO. Also promotion..where is the promotion of the cloud vision and cost savings?

still 'deafening silence' on all this...would be nice if something worked on this but unlikely

also ibelink is releasing a 7 TH decred miner shipping august 1st ...so the decred units will likely be toast as well

Weekly update contains lot of material which everyone who is long on this should be aware of. Update on moving to Gitlab and its advantages and fixes of so many bugs for previous week. One  thing which was long demanded a hardware support which seems to be brought earlier as testing. It is called best usage of downtime for development to bring great features up.

Both are run by shills. I would prefer a Git source code hosting facility based on Savane such as GNU Savannah.

Tell me how long you have been working on the exchange Poloniex and how difficult it is now working withdrawal? I heard they have a very long time problems with the withdrawal of coins, now of course for a long time do not follow the Affairs of the exchange.

I like this project, it's one of the first project i invested in when i got into cryptos, I want know apart from bittrex, is sia listed on any other centralized exchanges? Also is there a mobile app yet?
Probably a good idea to buy coins now, because they say the growth of the entire market is expected soon. And Sia time-tested coin and can be safely expect growth think. And the exchange you can see for yourself, there are many of them.
It turns out we will have delay in a market growth, so you should take into account you may be freezing your funds investing in such projects.

When I see Poloniex i get reminded my "lost" transactions & also threatened to ban my account for using them as a wallet.. main issue with Poloniex is several SIA wallet problems/unavailability and sketchy customer service. Basically I am still waiting for my coins to appear 2 months later - very disappointing - my mining sia is not even paying for electricity.... Sad
don't use Poloniex - you ll get burnt like i did

Sia is a relatively excellent project in the field of distributed storage. The current encrypted currency market is in a bear market, and the price of Sia has fallen a lot, but the future development is still worth looking forward to.

Since the price has fallen significantly in the falling market, perhaps someone can advise on what price you can buy Sia coins. I'm already too confused where to buy, I don't even know.

Now a lot of companies have appeared with their data warehouse! The society needs such companies! the world is constantly changing from a paper medium to an electronic one! the project involves a very professional team with its own view of the market! I think that the project is waiting for success! I wish good luck to this project!

Sia is a project where the usage of blockchain really makes sense and enriches the product.
I mined a few 1000 of them back when ASICS didn't exist and now i am hodling and will see what happens.
