That's great to hear Nice update Sia is a sleeper and has great potential to be a top coin very undervalued at the moment and its my plan ti utilize this vital moment right now... am i right?  ?? yes well said and of course you are taking right decision at right time now.  |

I am not sure how that works, I got most of my SC through poloniex and some through shapeshift. |

I'm new here and just looking into to Siacoin but I have some questions.
Can someone tell me what is the difference between this Sia and Storj as they both claim to offer decentralised cloud storage?
What makes this coin and services any better?

Unless I am wrong, a hard fork will be activated. Nothing really serious: simply old versions of SIA client will be kicked out (below v0.5 I think to remember). In any case, from a technical perspective it will be interesting |

Yesterday they released the new 1.2.0 software client, with substantial improvements for hosts Early in the week they announced the integration of Sia on Nextcloud to offer Nextcloud users backup storage. https://blog.sia.tech/using-sia-as-a-storage-back-end-for-nextcloud-90eab037959dDuring this week, we have seen a dramatic increase of total space offered by hosts (from 300Tb to 1500-2000Tb) |

I'm also looking forward to being able to search addresses on the block explorer when the devs have time, I have my siafund in cold storage. |
