Working on affiliates now I may split the 15% with ppl.
On that note, are we allowed to do this, or is it against ToS? From what I am reading, Dankbud was actually meant to say that he is working to spread his referall link though ( I could be wrong on this ). As for the "potential abuse" , they are aware of this situation and this is against ToS but too bad it is pretty easy to bypass the system . A simple VPN would be able to let you bypass it anyway. This is taken from BetterBets ToS 3.2 You must not use the Website for any purpose which is illegal, defamatory, abusive or obscene, or which Company considers discriminatory, fraudulent, dishonest or inappropriate. At the very best, someone could get back 0.35 % of every of his wagered amount or around 0.32 % due to the Happy Hour and Luck Forging ( 7 % less from the 0.35 % ) by abusing this and the house is making a sacrifice by keeping the 0.15 % of the wagered amount . However it is highly suggested to everyone not to do it because the referall link is meant to be spread to get more player though and the 0.2 % for the cashback promotions is good enough
Some people is very kind A rainbot would be nice. In progress fan, it will be sooner than expected I guess

Did you mean that you will be sharing the 15 % with people? If it is so then as far as I know it is fine and not forbidden to do so though because everything that will be paid to you will be your own possesion. I might have misunderstood the previous post , I thought Ranlo was asking about the potential abuse of referring your ownself ( I posted that in an early morning so yeah, kinda misunderstood sorry ) P.S : Sorry for the confusion

If I count this correctly, you are giving more than 50 % that you get from moneypot to the player. 35 % of the house edge , this is the total if someone abuse this by referring himself and you only got 15 % for that. This is a very low amount to keep the house running. Im not sure if this will help you to keep the house running btw
It's up to... only the biggest whales gain such a big benefit. Most players won't come close to that. Well you only need to wager 50 bitcoin weekly for that to get the 0.2 % of the wagered amount and that is a not a very high amount. Quick check on the site and I found that it seems there is a mini whale that win alot from plinko just few hours ago. Also is there a way to check who my referall is? I dont find it anywhere on the site btw Do you mean who you were referred by? Or do you want to see people who you referred to the site? I'm kind of doubtful on making this info available, because there are potential privacy considerations involved. Everybody: how do you feel about making such info available? I want to see who I referred to this site. Their username and if possbile their wagered amount after being referred by me. This is for transparancy for the referall commision . Also I want to ask is the referall commision counted in a live time? If my referall wagered 0.001 bitcoin will it display 0.0000015 bitcoin at my account tab or will it be counted manually on the end of the week?

In regards to seeing the player you actually got a referral bonus from, the only way to know is if they tell you, development sees privacy concerns of the player if we were to directly reveal that. If you refer a large bettor they may not want you to know who they are especially if their bankroll is huge, hope you understand. I mean you will know by a large referral bonus but not the players identity. We just added new fields for transparency see the picture:

Does the referral revenue count fractional satoshis as well? For example, if you bet 1 satoshi at a 1.25x multiplier, it will show the following on four successive wins:
+0 +0 +0 +1
This shows that the betting is adding 0.25 satoshi per win, but since the system only shows 8 decimals, it doesn't show until it rolls over to 1.
Does the referral system work in the same way, or is it like Rollin, where the minimum to be added is 1 satoshi and anything lower is skipped altogether?

For the referral bonus, we keep track of all non-zero amounts. Ie: fractional satoshi amounts are counted and not discarded. This makes perfect sense in this case because since your referral revenue is based upon a percentage of the house edge, discarding factional satoshi values would eliminate the referral bonus for basically any bet under 667 Satoshi (assuming a standard house edge of 1%). For the example you quoted, this is only the display area (which is rounded). In reality of course, even here the fractional satoshi amounts are counted but if we wanted to display this accurately, we'd have to add a few more digits to then end of the display amount which would mess up the table formatting on some display sizes.

Completely understand why it wouldn't be shown, was just curious as to if it was counted, . That makes this a LOT better than most other sites -- the majority ignore all fractions, such that users HAVE to bet above a specific threshold (usually 400+ satoshi or so) in order to be credited. So huge +1!

You are wrong about this, I dont say that I need to know their bankroll or whatever it is. I just want to check how many the person has wagered . Well everything is transparent isnt it in moneypot, I can also check your status, profit and your wagered amount through moneypot but there is no way to know who my referall is.

I am not wrong, I said players with a large bankroll would probably be opposed to showing their player names if they happen to be an affiliate (for fear of becoming a target.) I never said you asked to know what their bankroll is in my statement at all. We will be adding a field to show the number of affiliates you have on your account very shortly (just as Primedice does). In regards to the players name that will be left up to a player to decide if they want you to know who they are or signed under. Transparency and player privacy have to be carefully done, we have even had players unhappy with the "Hall of Fame" because it shows stats publicly. It's hard to find a perfect balance but hopefully people understand. ***We are discussing this internally now to determine if it is a greater benefit to BetterBets to reveal a players name you had signed up under you, as most know we take feedback seriously. Our biggest worry is if some people would find this intrusive to privacy. If our team cannot reach a decision then we would ask players to post their opinions/vote**

I'm not sure the term, but basically have x decimals, just for fluid purposes. For example, instead of the above, it'd be more like: 100.00000000 BTC - 5.00000000 BTC 1.00000000 BTC - 0.0500000000 BTC Ideally, it'd go a bit further, and have zeroes at the beginning to make things flush as well. Pretty much I just like to see a quick, easy-to-read pattern, . It's not a deal-killer, but I do personally believe it makes things look a lot better.
