Any links or comments where i could find more details about Bitshares distribution(Initial IPO, daily supply, etc.)?
Their website looks pretty complicated and i could not find or understand the economics behind bitshares.

I don't know if this is of any help... https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=14019.0

In any case you will have a lot more answers at https://bitsharestalk.org

Ok thanks.

The account name you created in the wallet https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/create-account is your address, always try with small amounts first. Documentation is also here http://docs.bitshares.eu/bitshares/user/first-steps-users.html

Not really, but in the bts wallet there are options to deposit real btc and get for example OPEN.BTC(IOU BTC so you can trade in the DEX) also you can sell your bts in the wallet(DEX) for OPEN.BTC and then withdraw them as BTC in your bitcoin wallet address in you PC or to an exchange like Poloniex. Keep in mind that liquidity is low right now in the DEX.

As I said in a previous post the place for more detailed and better explained answers is https://bitsharestalk.org

Thank you.

Their ilustrated topic about history of bitshares isn't helpful, but asking in their forum might be a good shot.

Is this the ONLY Bitshares thread on bitcointalk?

Couldn't find anything else...

They didn't post much here. All of the activity is at the bitsharestalk.org forum.

I registered an online wallet for Bitshares for the first time. After registration I had 1,000 QBITS in my wallet. Could someone explain me what QBIT is and what I can do with it. Is it an asset? If so, how can this asset could gain any value when it is given away for free?

here is the link to the QBITS Market

you can actually sell them and get some BitShares - I think it's like a faucet to help get you a feeling of the trading engine and some assets to play around with

Thanks, now I got the point! Since you need to buy some BTS in order to pay the fee when you are going to sell your QBITS on the market, it is really a good idea to get familiar with all the features. Unfortunately, there are no buy orders for QBITS at the moment.

OBITS is a great asset if you plan to invest into it for long term. Price have remain stable between $0.09 - $0.10 range so it could definitely be worth it to hold them as long as you like. I remember when OBITS were worth $0.07 each and look at them now.  Smiley

What is this "chameleon" you speak of?

Also, i see Bitshares has been added to Azure.

Can any of the Devs please respond and actually mention what the "microsoft Azure Help package" is, if there is one?

Are they actually going to offer any kind of support or just watch and see what you guys do?

Many thanks and congrats on getting into Bed with Wrinkly old Bill Gates.

Hey everyone! I would like to announce that Bitshares has now been integrated into Microsoft's Azure Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) platform. You can take a look at all the details here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blockchain-update-6/

There will be exciting times for BTS, in terms of price and demand. Just wait and see. I think it is time to hold onto our BTS.  Cheesy
