There are still a lot of projects building on or using the platform, but many of them use different venues for issuing updates. One place to check is beyond bitcoin show and hangout. Several these projects like block pay and peerage issue weekly updates there.

bitsharestalk doesn´t work for me. I don´t get the email. I tried Firefox and Chrome, gmx and web (email), "forget password", ... - nothing.

I'm not sure if you understand this, but Poloniex is an exchange and the funds they hold are their users' bitshares for trades/in trades

What are the many other blockchains? Aren't you supposed to pay a licensing fee to use graphene? I can't really see many alt coins going for that.
