I recently mentioned BitShares as one of my favorite most undervalued cryptocurrencies in a thread I started on the topic of true BTC ratio valuations and how we might get there.

Anyone who would like to “drop in” and share your reasons for holding BitShares, you have my warmest invitation to join in. What are your 5 top reasons for holding BitShares? What is special about BitShares?

Being undervalued in BTC ratio terms is only part of the story. Come over and tell us about the rest!

I recently bought BTS right at the high a few day ago. I've been using the exchange and everything is working perfectly. A decentralized exchange with blazing fast speeds and no daily withdrawal limit? Amazing. I would think it would've taken off like wildfire. I find the referal program and interest stuff a little scammy feeling but don't know much about that stuff. Anyone know why the price is going down?

great testimony Smiley

regarding referal program: It's a single level program (=not a MLM), and it's completely optional.

interest/dividends: currently there's one project - HERO - running on BitShares offering dividend like functionality. read https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,24092.0.html and try to understand, it's not easy at first glance. But can work perfectly fine if you see through the economic dynamics behind it.

Yep, I did the same. I think BTS is going to be one of the BIG winners.

This one goes beyond currency ratio valuation - holding BitShares is more akin to owning an equity with a PE ratio and dividends (that I estimate it most certainly will have someday).

Now I've just got to get my BTS off the exchange and start using it . . . to make more money!

You mean get it off poloniex or something? Or off the BitShares exchange wallet? How do you use it to make more money??

Good example of how conditioned we are that when I said "exchange" I was automatically thinking that it would be understood to be Polo, or Bittrex, for example, when in fact what I really need to do is get on "the exchange", BitShares, where I can make more money by trading . . . for example, today by having bought BitUSD if I had had my act together.  Sad
