Beyond Bitcoin | Bitshares Talk | January 20, 2018

Bitshares Is Still Winning
The Bitshares segments are growing and the participators are now tuning in faithfully. We are now creating an even bigger community outside of Steemit. Our presence on Youtube is growing and our watch time is increasing as Youtube "prizes" this type of progress. In 2018, it is not about views anymore..it is about watchtime minutes. Google cares more about content that captures attention and keeps viewers viewing than actual individual views. This is great for us as we have a vast playlist of previous hangouts that they can listen to as they go about their day. We are optimized to win on the youtube platform and now optimizing our ad campaign on facebook to run Facebook Ads as well as Twitter Ads. We are focusing on casting a wide net by utilizing our resources and leveraging valuable insight to funnel a wide audience from multiple social media platforms via a multimedia ad campaign with amazing video work *coughs* that would be me Smiley

BTS took a really hard hit in the past few weeks so it will rise again no doubt. It's actually a very good buy right now and will produce good returns very shortly

Why u think so? I hear from a lot of people, that 2018 - will be year of decentralized exchanges,  and ZRX made x17 from buttom, but BTS now stay only at x3-x4 from buttom, so why I need to buy it?

You answered your own question! Wink BTS have a greater potential for growth than ZRX. 2018 will definitely be the year of decentralized exchanges. And all projects about DEX will extremely rise.

I think that bitshares is a good investment to make at this moment of time. If you compare the previous trend of Bitshares with where it is now in the charts, it's quite similiar, and its currently at the point where bitshares should hopefully go in an uptrend providing some decent returns. Take a look at those charts and hopefully you will see that correlation.

Yes, BTS is on the ride! Told about it. Wink
Long ago I chose a strategy for myself:
1. find a good coin which is dumped;
2. BTFG;
3. take profit.
That strategy works 9 times out of 10 Grin

Has the Bitshares 2.0 really under developments? Is the [Suspicious link removed]d for long-term investment? I will keep my eyes on the project for sure.

Future belongs to decentralized exchanges which will provide better solutions gets big piece of the pie. Bitshares can be good bet for big gain it has been among top 10 markets in past. There is risk element involved in every type of investment so make your own research before investing but once you buy then hold without caring on results in short term. This is only way to get something from any project.

Does bitshares have staking? on BTS wallet?

Yes it sure does. You can find this in the other topic in the opening post:

Consensus algorithm: Delegated Proof of Stake DPOS "Graphene"
Block time: 3 sec, ~1.5 sec latency for 99.9% irreversibility certainty
Block reward: 3 BTS (from treasury)

I have a mistake that bought a lot of BTS on poloniex exchange. Now it is under maintenance network issues. Seems no way to withdrawal any accounts until a solution or an update from Dev is found. How long is it last? Anyone know?

I guess it should not take more than 1 day, at the most maybe a few, depending on the issue they are dealing with. I don't think it can really drop much lower so all it does for now is help you to HODL Wink

It has still under maintained. But you are right, it doesn't drop anynore. The market today has been bounced again, I hoping for BTS price will recovery to at least 2000 sats.

Great news, but seem doesn't make it's price better in the bearish market.

Many people are watching now unless there are new flashpoints. Bitshares is now pricing in a stable price.

Not sure. While the market is bloody, there will hardly be stable in the near future. I afraid of " bull trap" can occur soon.
