If I run a contest where people have to post a link to their FaucetBox account, is there anyway that puts them at risk of getting their account hacked? I need them to post the link to prove something, but don't want to risk their accounts, I'll think of something else if I need to.

actually if u have a btc address u can see how many satoshis its owner can make and i consider it as a good thing
the only problem is when kids gets involved and try to change your payout threshold when it is not locked

you can ask users to provide their btc addresses in personal msg, i don't think this will harm anyone {don't know if faucets can register the btc addresses already or not, if yes u can already check their payments}

Things to consider:

1. If user hasn't changed his payout threshold, anyone can do that just knowing the link / his address
2. User may lose anonymity. Probably right now noone can connect him to the address his using on FaucetBOX.com. If he sends his link, he'll lose that (not that many will care though)
3. That's mostly public data anyway. Everything's on the blockchain.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

it's not the funcaptcha what i do not like, but the invisible anti-bot to click.
ok i have meet a funcaptcha where i had to turn 6 pictures...this is boring too.
I'm sure ann these antibot clicks are more to avoid claimers payout than to stop bots.

It depends on the amount of funcaptcha's "puzzle" thing. 2 is pretty fast, 4 is acceptable, more is really boring probably but until now i didn't find any faucet with more than 4 puzzles.

When you have to solve it only 2 or 4 times i don't know why people complain....you can solve it pretty fast and it's pretty impossible to not solve it while other captchas sometimes are impossible because of bad images or texts and other like solvemedia(1 of the 2 versions of solvemedia) have that thing that load for a few seconds before the text appear and those 2 are pretty worst imo.

I think if a bot can solve 2 puzzle it cam also 3 or 4 or 6 or 8
more then 2 is only to discourage the claimer.

well sure if u have only 1 faucet to use, 4 puzzles of funcaptcha to solve isn't a big problem, but imagine if u use more than 5,10 faucets?

4 puzzles or more is just ridiculous especially with the same tricks of the women and the 'girl face' boy,
yeah to solve it fast i just chosen the wrong pics! and the consequence is u have more puzzles added!

i support funcaptcha but don't abuse the puzzles numbers...

Thanks for the tips guys.
Props to FaucetWorld posting the graph showing the before and after switching from reCaptcha to funcaptcha.
I didn't know bots could get around recaptcha and solvemedia so easily. I went ahead and switched my new faucet over to funcaptcha and I'm also thinking of switching my other site over as well.

I'm sure that this will change. The bottom line is that it works Smiley

You have to update your FaucetBox script to the latest version https://faucetinabox.com and then get the keys from https://www.funcaptcha.com

no.

Why would you want something like that?

I'd really love to see that. Hovewer I think it'll be cheaper if you just pay someone to create a custom script for you. I don't think any bot will care to bother for just one custom faucet, looks like only generic sites are being attacked.

Looks like the funcaptcha not stopping bots? Maybe it saying that it stop, but payouts saying different.
