I tried three different ones all the same result, its just an error in his config most probably.

"Unknown error" is only shown when address is banned or faucet can't connect to the API*, so that's not a problem in config. And it worked for me (I've just tried), so it's not a problem with connection, at least not a long-lasting one.

Have you tried a fresh new address?

That's not the error we're talking about. That one can be caused pretty much by anything and you're right, it can be caused by error in config.
I believe that ONLYFree was referring to the error shown by the script itself that literally says "Unknown error.".

Captchas are now easily solved by Captcha Solvers with which they get reward also along side using bots.

So the only thing to stop bots is to block proxies and VPS service providers.
If any one is being attacked by bots it is often by proxies and VPS providers

Its using to not send payments to visitors after they visit a faucet.

So thats mean that I invited only few users with this, only true or system not working  because from 100 payments i see only 2 around with one satoshi

I have another suggestion buy a ak47 then track and find bots and kill them   just kidding

have another idea just set reward 0 satoshi and redirect them to unstoppable redirect page there bot will keep loading that page. for example redirect bot to easyhits4u sqeez page and and make that page reload again and again .
thus bot users will get frustrat

Will be more nice when faucetbox use a recall action for people who use bots in a fast time to steal all coins. Think the solution have to be offered from Faucetbox itself.

There's nothing to fix. Our script doesn't block anything on it's own, the faucet owner had to manually add your address to list of banned addresses. You have to contact this faucet owner if you care enough.

This faucetlist gets more and more bizzar. Why are low paying faucets at the top? And why doesn't faucetbox show the average user payout because a load of them reward 1 satoshi despite saying e.g. "1000 satoshi sent".

That list is fake. Faucets paying 200 every 600min are on top...

My coins were stolen by a bot, too.
On the payout page I saw my coins disappear by the minute, whilst ther is an 180 minute interval.
These bot did not show up in my Statcounter logs, but they did in Direct Admin.
I geo-blocked Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine as the majority of the fraudsters seem to originate from there in .htaccess and a list of suspect IP addreesses.
Then I found out that there are tutorials on Youtube how to fool faucets for the time interval.
They are using Tor Browser. I downloaded a list of Tor exit node IP's and put them in the banlist in the faucet's admin.
I also enabled Nastyhosts.
My faucet was running very well, but I had to move it to a new URL. And created a new one so I would get another API key. You never know if the bot discovered it.
Unfortunately it's taking a long while before it gets listed again on Faucetbox and scanthebox (read: my ad revenue stalled).
I also recommend to secure the config.php file in .htaccess.

Blocking ips and tors is that real solution ?
I guess that's not a real solution just add some new protection features .

I personally like xapo faucet where a email is required and we can easily detect a bad user.

Well according to the frontpage of Faucetbox they are trying to make it safer soon. However I don't know if that is meant for users or owners.
I am not saying it's the real solution and I can not say much about it, as the new faucet is still not listed.
I myself tried it using Tor Browser, I saw the faucet, could solve the captcha, but after clicking the reward button I get a white page, which shows up as a 500 error in my logs. And the reward was not paid out.

Now I do happen to have installed a new faucet today that uses Xapo, but I am still figuring out the backend. And Xapo itself, now I am hungry, so I will be back later ;-)

However email registration (with captcha) can not be a real solution either. Those bots will create new addresses over and over and also find a way around the captcha. (Ever had a phpBB forum?)

Email registration + SMS verification might be better, but what if they use burnphones? They steal enough to have a whole bunch in stock?

BTW the list of TOR IP's is public and CTRL-A, CTRL-C, CTRL-V is not THAT hard to do...
