In short, holding btc long term will probably make money. But holding alts long term is more likely to be better. Alts are cheaper and the risk can be spread. Not true with btc

It is a sure thing, if you had bought some bitcoins while the price is still low. Look at the price right now, for sure if you had sold some of it earlier. You will regret that you started to sell some of it but if you are able to keep them up to now you will be proud and happy that you believed bitcoin and you are able to hold them for better.

Indeed. Though it's a risk that anyone takes. But I think there were several tips and forecasts already that indicated btc's rise though I never have expected it to be this quick. I'm now regretting that I didn't buy a lot of btcs at the beginning of this year when the price dropped

There are experts, investors and other professionals that are giving their insights about bitcoin. At first, I was not able to believe because the figures are too high for me and I don't expect the price will happen with their predictions. But if we are going to check the price of bitcoin right now, it's a very good move to keep on holding as the price is promising and it can even reach new ATH.

Yes it is better to invest in altcoins rather than holding bitcoin for long term because there is no assurance that we can get at least double profit from holding bitcoin because we don't know what will happen in the next months or years so it is better to just invest on promising altcoins that are available in the market and monitor them and watch you money grow faster than holding bitcoin.

If you would have bought 4 years ago, it would have been a long time good way to make money. Even if you would have bought few weeks ago, you would  have made a nice catch.

Even just a week ago or 3 days ago there is still profit.
You wont see anything like this with other commodities.
That is why having bitcoin is mandatory for me now. Without it I feel like I am being left behind.
Even looking at altcoins they just move a little with a long time span.
Even gold is stucked with just $1200 - 1290. Way to different with how the bitcoin moves. He could try to compare it if he want to.
Maybe that will open some senses to other people too with introducing the difference.

Holding a coin is just risky if you don't know anything about the coin and you don't know what are the things that will happen in that coin in short, you don't have any information. Holding a coin can be risky also if you just hold it for short term and not long term because short term are very volatile to the price and you will get more chances to loss rather than to earn.

Yeah thats why we need to be more informative about on the coin we are going to stake but as you can see on what is happening on bitcoins right now the price is totally huge and to lucky for those people who bought from 300$ and beyond since they accumulated such huge profits from it already and maybe they will earn more if they stake longer from it. But i think theres only few people who are staking for that level since there are various things happens that made confusion thats why for the past months price of bitcoins has go down and im pretty sure many people sold their btc when bitfinnex hacking issue occured at that time.

Bought the first coins in 2011 around 3$, where unsure, young, did not really got into the game and invest time, just trade them over the years with more or less small profits, felt lucky and sold them finally in times of fear. Didn't hold 1 Coin left, stopped a while and after checking the prices a couple of weeks ago I still want to smash my head against walls

So, from now on my strategy is clear. The feeling I have from what I know and see is the same I had 6 years ago. Unsure, but worth the risk. Even better, because I really begin to understand know how what bitcoins are, except from earning money. Now got enough trust over the years to spend everything I don't need for living and can lose in bitcoins ( ~ 80% / 20 Altcoins) and -hold- the most amount this time. I'm ready for the next 6 years. In meantime I have time to do better research, watch the market.. trade little amounts.. and will resist the temptation trading to much and selling to fast. When you lose it all but still can say to yourself, I really thought about it and this way felt totally right, I don't regret.. than it's a good base for your strategy I think.
