Why have Bitcoin instead of cash?

I would like more and more people to be using bitcoin as you don't need to carry it around like regular cash, but it does mean that you need to be more tech savvy than most and teaching the older generations is going to be a tough one.

thats the problem with adoption since more third world country still don't have enough knowledge about this currency so cash will still there option.

I think they have the knowledge already as long as they know how to access the internet. The big problem there is the trust, it is not easy to convince people to use bitcoin and to make this as part of his life.

I agree. Bitcoin gives alot of freedom compared to using fiat currency. Bitcoin users are more free to move in the internet than using credit cards which can be stolen easily when used online and also you have to disclose your identity. In Bitcoin, you stay anonymous and transactions are not very limited.

Having thousands of bitcoins is not my point, my point is that if you convert the money you have in fiat to bitcoin and keep them in a wallet, even you could use a mixer for not letting anyone get to them and then keep them in a new wallet, how come would someone come to know that those bitcoins belong to you? You dont need to provide any personal information for buying bitcoins these days.

I think for me bitcoin is still not so safe in my view because i saw many scam site out there and scammers.. because of anonymity but in fast transaction it is a good performance since we can decide if we want fast transaction or with in 25 blocks according to your speed you want..
And the other benefits year it is good for investment for long term since we already experience of price increase..

I would argue that Bitcoin is far from anonymous.

Same thoughts mate. It's very secured they are very strict with their compliance for registering your account information to your wallet before you get your bitcoins and convert it into cash.

even localbitcoins will require you to do some sort of verification to start to trade,and those sellers in localbitcoins are ain't stupid to accept transaction directly without thinking twice especially if the transaction were involving paypal as the payment method,chargedback feature is really a threat

With Bitcoin you always depend on internet when you want to transact with another person, while you don't need any internet to do the same with cash.

Every cash transaction is between you and the other person. No records or logs are kept which can potentially be used against you.
