It's another long block that is "clogging" up the chain.

Keep mining it'll pop eventually.

We are waiting until block 46331 for the new difficulty algo to take effect.  We are still on the old algo.  Once we hit that block, things should get to a somewhat normal block rate.

Why someone use new version Catcoin:0.9.2.4?
I think 9.2.0 have a bug and wrong chain.

If you rebuild database with   connect=107.170.40.107   you go to main chain.

If you are running anything OTHER than 0.9.2.0, then you are running the WRONG code, and will be feeding into Hozer's unauthorized code against the coin.

107.170.40.107 is Hozer's seed node, which is NOT running OFFICIAL code listed here:

Looks like catcoinwallets.com has an issue that happened over the weekend.  We will look into why that site is down ASAP.

That is the current block on the right chain at this time.  The reason your wallet was showing 15 hours behind, earlier today, was because of the super long block.  Since there wasn't a block for about 15 hours at the time of your original post, then it will think that it is behind.  That will happen on any coin that has long blocks.  If you notice now, since you just found the block on Geekhash, your wallet should show synced up.

After we finally hit block 46331, that is when the new difficulty algo will kick in, and we should not have these super long blocks any more.  We were hoping to hit that block today or tomorrow, but since the difficulty on the old algo went nuts, it left us with a super high difficulty, and slowed down the actual block finding, so we got pushed back at least 3 - 4 days worth of blocks.

Make a backup of your wallet directory, and delete everything in it except for wallet.dat, and then re-sync.  Make sure you do NOT have that connect= or addnode= with the IP address listed, as that node is using the WRONG blockchain.

On which chain yours wallet, depend on connections to one or other chain. Which more connections that winner.
I use maxconnections=5
and
addnode=107.170.40.107 - 45643
addnode=62.210.254.171 - 45643
addnode=146.0.32.101     - 45643
addnode=98.115.147.74   - 45224
addnode=108.61.10.90    - 45224

if I add connections with 45224 my wallet switch to new blockchain, but I lost many coins.
Therefore I will support old 45643 chain.
In my opinion 45224 - wrong chain.

You will have to talk to Hozer on your lost coins then.  As he is "A single entity" that is causing that fork in the chain, against "A community of many" on the official chain.

Good luck getting your coins to work with his chain.

Blak.

Good luck with the experiment, and I hope you do find the results as I have stated. Wink

And the block is popped :-)

/Bejjan
Thanks much Bejjan and miners!

I just returned from a few days away from home and my miners were off-line.  I expected us to still be hung up this evening - but when I returned I see that we're back down from space.

Thanks CATs!
