All righty...we're back down from space.
We'll continue to manage the dips by taking as much mining off during the dips as we can. That'll help keep blocks flowing to the fork.
We keep nudging Cryptsy but so far there's no communication other than a '1st level tech' message along the lines of 'thanks for your message - we'll pass it to our technician'. They're taking much, much longer than normal and customer service is...well...in character. More news when we've got some to share.
If anyone knows of a pool or utility or site that is not yet updated, please post - along with a CAT address - the 50 CAT reward still stands.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Wolverine was one of our community that was sucked into the fork by the folks at smarterhash. The coins he mined while at that pool were from hozer's fork, not from the CAT chain. As it wasn't his fault that he got screwed over, I reimbursed him for his mining from my personally mined coins. We're happy to have you in the community, Wolverine - thanks for your patience through the slow blocks! It's pretty clear that 'vampirus' is a new alias for hozer. He hasn't mined any CAT blocks, isn't missing any CAT, and insists on promoting a fork only he is mining on. Promoting his attack fork violates forum rules.

That's normal - pools still wait for 120 confirms. Our block time is still all over the place, but this is expected. We choose to take some volatility before the fork instead of arbitrarily censoring blocks with time limits. All of this disappears at the fork.

All of this disappears at the fork. 42 more blocks until the first block you were mining on, will be at the 120 confirms, then it will be available for withdraw. Blak

All Righty CATs - we've been working on Bittrex to add CAT to their exchange. They want to hear from the community before they accept us. Feel free to request CAT at Bittrex here:https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-Bittrex-Updated-07-20-15We've already submitted all the info they need - source, links, threads, community, etc. All you have to do, if you want CAT on Bittrex, is to open a support ticket and demand CAT. We've never been de-listed - the two other exchanges we've been on from the start closed their doors and/or were hacked into bankruptcy. If you prefer another exchange, please link it as well! Andy To submit a request: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
After you do, post a CAT address.

Got reply from btitrex
Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand.
We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.
