Thats the current version of the wallet. The download is through github, if you have problems it is either because of github or your internet connection. Good luck to you sir  Smiley

Good deal, I am glad you are involved in another coin, I am sure we will see great things with this coin.. Smiley

I totally dig the fact that you are one of the only devs that puts out Raspbian Wallets, All Devs should step up and do this for their PoS coins!!

presstab is due credit for attracting good folks to his projects, but it was actually Hedgehog01 who cooked the wallet for the pi.

Still, you are absolutely right about people needing to release such things. If a PoS coin is not catering to this market then you have to wonder if they understand the benifits of securing the block chain with an army of low power arm boards.

I very much encourage anyone interested in PoS to buy some sort of arm board for wallets. ffs if you ever want to talk about such things im easy to find on irc. THESE are the real key to a crypto future. ASIC's bs future is about as sustainable as western excess. We need more progress in realistic block chains as opposed to wasteful space heaters.

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam
Read It. Hate It. Change the facts that it represents.

super-exponential blow-off top at some point, if it follows the normal life cycle, but that happens once heavy volume sets in and frenzy starts

This looks like the smoothest, and quickest takeover in history. Very impressive. I really like how you configured the reward structure via locked coins.  Cool

Its Presstab, the god of POS coins.

I wish I had proposed this idea before the hard fork, but I haven't been here since the beginning.  I was thinking about it, and having the annual interest increase the longer you hold your coins is an interesting twist and encourages holding long term.  However, if no one is staking because they are building up coin age, it wouldn't have made for a very healthy or secure network.  So, a 100 coin minimum reward was wisely included.

The only problem is that now the increasing interest rate is pretty pointless.  Clearly having many small blocks of coins and consistently staking is going to yield far greater rewards.  How about if you hold your coins for a full year, 365 days, you earn a whopping 100% and double your coins?  To me this would be the perfect balance between rewarding consistent staking and rewarding long term holding.  The consistent stakers will keep the network chugging along and pull in a steady stream of 100 coin rewards, but someone who commits to holding for a long time can potentially earn more.  If they can't make it the whole year, the lower rate increase is like a consolation prize.  It would be the best of both worlds, secure network and juicy rewards for committing to holding long term and keeping your coins off the market.

This would mean another hard fork which would be silly to do so soon after it just had one, but if people liked the idea and wanted it included, Presstab could just commit to doing it at some point in the next year and people can start saving up coin age immediately.  For now all that would be required is a little note on the ANN explaining that fact.

Confused here, the initial post states that the minimum block reward is 100XRA.  Is this also the maximum?  Seeing by the blockchain, I see that I set my blocks way too high if that is the case.   Undecided

Yes there is no maximum reward for XRA. Set you blocks accordingly. Right now I think best strategy is setting low blocks and letting them accumulate weight over time.

Thank you for the response presstab.  What is confusing me is the blockchain and the minted amount of coins.  For example:

Block Height:   113597
Stake Input:   5,426.80
Age:   8.66 Days
Weight:   46,103
Minted:   100.00
Annual PoS Rate:   77.67 %
Money Supply:   74,637,228

In this example he is staking (please correct me if I am wrong) a block of 5426.80XRA correct?  Since the age is 8.66 days, according to the chart this would fall in the 5.0625% area since it is over 8 days:

else if(nAge > nTimeDay * 16)
      nRewardCoinYear = 5.0625 * CENT;
   else if(nAge > nTimeDay * Cool
      nRewardCoinYear = 3.375 * CENT;

The 5426.80 block of XRA should have earned 5.0625% or 274.73175 XRA, however it shows that only 100.00 XRA was minted.  This is was made me think that the 100 XRA was max as well since it should be well over that amount considering the age of the block.  What am I missing?   Huh

Sorry it can be a bit confusing. That 5.0625 is an annual rate, which is the standard way to quote a rate for PoS coins. So you would take that 5.06 and divide by 365 and then multiply by 8.66 days to get the rate. So that would come out to around 6.51 reward, hence it hits the min stake of 100 instead.

Ahh, gotcha!  Thanks, that clears up a lot.  When it stated minimum stake of 100XRA I believed it to mean that your block would not stake until your percentage at that time was able to produce at least a 100 XRA block.  I didn't realize that a block of 10 XRA had the ability to produce a 100 block if it was lucky enough.

Since I hold HYP, seeing smaller percentages threw me off, thinking that 1% was for just 1.5 days of staking.  Thanks for the explanation.  Now to get these blocks MUCH smaller.  Cheesy

Diff is VERY VERY high right now. Thats not a bad thing. It just means there is ALOT of people staking. Also it keeps inflation down. So if your not getting anything, this is expected until your coin blocks gain weight. You can also try larger block sizes such as 7000-10,000. It might help.

"proof-of-stake" : 5.38242170

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Why is bittrex wallet disabled?

I think the orig seed nodes just expired. New wallets aren't connecting to network, existing wallets are running without problems...
But that's just me guessing.  Undecided  Smiley
