You guys should thank me, my wallet has been offline since the 16th and might be down for another couple of days. So catch them high stake rate while you can, cause when my wallet comes back on line, there will be alot of accumulated weight. Same goes for HYP.

I can't stop watching my locked blocks stake rewards grow Smiley Only 10 days until my big blocks are in the 64 day/11.39% bracket. And love seeing my cute little 5.8k blocks finally breaking the 100 min reward threshold Tongue

I am working on a new wallet release. It will take maybe a week or two before it's ready for public trial. Source builders will be able to follow along as we go Wink

Just added a new RPC call tonight called "coinlock". The point of it is to have a basic non-gui utility to manage your locked coins. Right now it is in its most basic form and only allows to display the coins you have locked, and unlockall or lockall. I plan to add the ability to lock or unlock a specific coin too. Anyone building from source can have access and play with it right now (always backup wallet first). https://github.com/presstab/ratecoin/commit/f8ad0acd1cede1d751920f861a09ac5b3a9ccf7d

Code:
coinlock <command>
Commands:
display - shows any locked coins you have. A locked coin will not attempt to stake.
unlockall - unlocks all locked coins
lockall - locks all coins from staking

I already had one person that for some reason the GUI would not unlock their coins, this worked like a charm for them Cheesy

found this comparison sheet while wandering on few forums i believe it was done by David long back hope someone with the better knowledge of XRA data will update it and might it will become handy for someone else too.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ikUfhQXaWMe8BrfS8QpiO3X86xynoK0U6eLlWpE4wDk/edit?usp=sharing

@presstab: if you look at HyperStake info as well and might it would be an addition to both threads main posts (HYP+XRA) to give more clarity to new community members.

Hi I'm new here

I would like to ask a couple of questions:

Quote
High Rewards for Long Term Holders: XRA calculates stake rate based on the age of the input that is used in the stake transaction. The reward rate starts at 0.25% for any input that is less than one day old. If the input is over 1 day old the stake rate bumps up to 1%. For every doubling of days the stake rate moves up by 1.5 times (up to the top bracket of 25.6289% after 256 days).

1.the % is per day or per year?
2.Is there any irc channel to get support? May I use the ##hyperstake one?
3 Is there any easy to install ubuntu/linux wallet?

Thank you and sorry for my newby questions

#ratecoin on freenode is the irc channel
Linux wallet can be compiled from source currently. If you catch me on irc later I can get you a 64bit Linux wallet that you can just download.

There is a new wallet release in the works too that will be adding in some more features.
