Ok I'll try it, but I think that the devs took great care in the design to avoid the color pink.

Just kidding, it's live now like that.  What do you think?

It took a long time for me to color all those links in Windows Paint, zooming in and doing the edges 1 pixel at a time.

Looks a bit better, imo, but hey, it is your website Smiley

No, it is a community website.  Now with your color saturation job displayed for all the world to see, it is your website too.  (Not a legally binding statement)

I noticed that the mining calculator on the website is broken. When I click on the "Calculate" blue button to try to calculate my (really really little) potential profit, nothing happens. Is it just me or does it is stuck for you too ?

there is about 10.6mil UIS and over 5,1bil DGB total (acording to coinmarketcap). You see a different? x486 less coins. I don't think is it good to compare those two coins.

Excellent point.  Unitus is worth at least 20 times what Digibyte is worth.

But Coinmarketcap has the wrong figures for supply.  I sent them a ticket about it a few weeks ago with the correct numbers and a link to a different block explorer, but maybe they'll straighten it out now thanks to nzsquirrell's work on the official explorer.

I think coinmarketcap prefers/requires stock block explorers, like insight or something, because they want to use the same api calls for everything.

tell me the API call they use and it shall be built. In the meantime this is pretty much the authoritative source - http://unitus.info/json/supply.php

I talked to Gliss, and he didn't seem to mention any specific syntax, but the one API call he said they needed was supply endpoint (as he called it), and after asking for clarification, that means the current coin supply (which makes sense, since then they just multiply that by last price to get "market cap").

BARR is looking at burning some Unitus in January.  Our voting isn't final until the 15th, but so far it looks like Unitus will be our Wild Card coin.

For more details, see our ANN:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219460.0

It looks like unitus.info is down.

The explorer at nakamotoplaza is also down.

Let us know if we can help fund getting an explorer back online, because we need one for our burn exchange.

Unitus will be exchanged for BARR from January 1 to January 30.

We are exchanging 1 BARR per 50 Unitus.

Message us here with the amount you're burning, then send your UIS to the burn address:

UMz1xPGbHGWacUUtfXefyXWVoJX9Q2kNtF

This address hashes to a string of zeroes and is considered provably unspendable.

Then message us with the transaction ID and your NXT address.

We'll verify on the blockchain that you sent the UIS to the burn address, we'll multiply that amount by .02, and we'll send that amount of BARR to your NXT account.

Don't use a NXT deposit address from an altcoin exchange, but you can use an online wallet at trade.secureAE.com.  Or a desktop NXT client of course.

Great news!

Here's the link to the burn address on the new explorer:

http://explorer.unitus.nutty.one/address/UMz1xPGbHGWacUUtfXefyXWVoJX9Q2kNtF

The balance of this address should be subtracted from the total coin supply.
The more we burn, the rarer all remaining coins become.
