Unitus February 2018 Monthly Update (Collaboration!)
CollaborationIn breaking news, we are happy to announce that we have officially collaborated with Angel Token. They are an ICO that raised over 860 ETH from several different investors. In short, Angel Token is a team of individuals with extensive experience in investing and marketing who also happen to have years of experience in the crypto world. They are/will be investing in small crypto projects that they believe are highly undervalued and have extreme potential.
Unitus was their #1 choice out of the 1500+ projects in crypto! With their help, we will be transforming Unitus into something much bigger and meaningful. They will be putting a ton of emphasis towards marketing us while also helping out the development a bit. Stay tuned... This is the start of something huge. MarketingWith our new collaboration with Angel Token, our marketing efforts will increase exponentially. Here is a short list of things they will be helping with.
- Assistance for paid press releases.
- Assistance for advertising and paid marketing campaign on Facebook, Twitter, banner ads on Coinmarketcap.com and many other things.
- Emailing to their investor list with thousands of people.
- Assistance to help develop wallets and or other things.
- Re-design and improve our website and any and all other marketing channels that we have.
- Assistance with professional marketing and explanation videos.
- Get their entire community of Angel Token ICO investors involved in our project and community to help promote Unitus everywhere.
- Much more
We (the Unitus team) will also continue our marketing efforts of giveaways and such.
Development-We have started work on a whitepaper.
-We will be releasing a new roadmap soon.
-We are working on new designs.
- Core wallet version 0.14.2.1 being released very soon, just a bugfix and maintenance update. Not a required update
- Hybrid PoW/PoS is still scheduled by end of Q2. More details to come regarding this
- Electrum wallet is still being worked on.
- Mobile wallet is still a top priority.
-We have added 2 new merge mining pools recently for VTC and XMY. I will link them under the "mining" section.
[-b]Dev fund[/b] - Many communities members have brought up the idea of a developer fund which would help streamline and hasten our development. We are currently working out the details

Since we share a CPU algo with Myriad (yescrypt) and a GPU algo with Vertcoin (Lyra2RE2), you can mine both of those coins at the same time with Unitus in the same PC! Effectively mining 3 coins at once with UIS being the bridge. These 2 new mining pools have attracted a lot more Unitus miners!
We will also be adding more merge mining pools for other coins
ExchangesWe have recently been sending listing requests to several exchanges. Stay tuned
NEXT.exchange - We are currently in 4th place in votes! Thanks to everyone who has voted so far! We have over 1.1k votes and only 3 coins are ahead of us that are not listed yet.
