My first 0.05BTC is from a referral commission in a hyip program.

That's cool. I wonder what hyip program pays in Bitcoins.

Bitcoin is more and more popular in the hyip business. Here's a list of hyip programs that pays in bitcoin http://www.investspot.biz/BitCoin-HYIPs.html

I have bought my first bitcoin and then started using faucets for a little bit but I just got some dust in my wallet, and the rest come from signature campaigns.

Even I bought my first bitcoin from localbitcoins and then started to earn from signature campaigns. But when I came to know that you can also gamble using bitcoins I was very much excited. As I haven't gambled in real life with fiat so wanted to have experience of gambling once in a lifetime. I gambled, I lost though  Angry but it was an learning experience for me.

You can see clearly in the op title that faucets do not count as faucets are not valid way of earning bitcoin. I think there are no faucet on earth which can give you whole 1 BTC in your lifetime.
And my first bitcoin similar to op  came from Primedice signature campaign way back September 2014. It was an experiment and I think it went pretty well.

I bought my first bitcoin from localbitcoins. And I joined signature campaigns and started to multiply my bitcoins, though lost few of them in Gambling, but recovered in the next. But Signature campaign is the good way to earn bitcoins and today I already have more then 3 BTC in my wallet. So now dreaming to make it 6 as soon as possible. Cheesy

Well I was a newbie but I heard mining was the way to go. I ended up buying a "lifetime contract" through Genesis-Mining with my Visa card. I then had to wait 30 days for my first payout and began trading altcoins as during this 30 days I learned quite a bit. ;] Oh, I still receive payouts to this day from my "lifetime contract", loll..

It's very interesting to see that many signature / faucet whatever users tend to gamble. I wonder why?

Bought them with Paypal through Virwox, paid quite a bit of fees on it.
Luckily, I've found better ways to get Bitcoins now.
