How did you first hear about bitcoin?

I admit that the first time I heard about bitcoin was in March 2013.

 I believe that there is only three concepts that you need to know that makes bitcoin interesting:

You can't have a currency that uses something that is not rare.
Computers are very good at copying things.
If no one is in direct control of something then everyone using it is in control of it.
I recognised these things and was fascinated, immediately and began mining. I'm not saying I understood everything about it, it took me a good 2 months to actually understand how it worked. In this time I would constantly referred back to the white paper and try to make sense of it.

I am very invested in the success of bitcoin now and it scares me... maybe beyond want I am willing to accept.

A few years ago I searched for some pictures matching my article at the photo stock.
I saw a bitcoin logo and wondered what that was.
I browsed over the Internet for the information about bitcoin and found a lot of content describing block-chain technology.
Since then I'm interested in all news and papers on bitcoin topics.

The first thing I heard about bitcoin is you can invest and earn with it. so I immediately pointed out to my friend who knows bitcoin, and I've been interested in it, I immediately studied it well to learn how to use it. and I'm so thankful that I understand it now that I know a little bit of bitcoin.

i heard about bitcoin long time ago and also hacking of mt gox but never bother to learn more about it then. I felt it was not someting tangible or real. but now i start to learn more and more about cryptocurrencies like all the alt coins as well, not just bitcoin.

I firstly heard about it when I was the one facilitating a computer shop here in our country, then an old lady was doing something about MMM? My first MLM.

I heard bitcoin last year and I don't believe that bitcoin will rise that's why I don't use it. But as time goes by I can see the changes of the life of my fellow using bitcoin and thats the beginning of everything the beginning where I can patronize bitcoin.

At first I am not aware what is bitcoin and how I am going to use it. I first heard it in other forums that I am also a member, its around 2014 that I first meet the bitcoin and after that I didn't stop to follow the bitcoin and I research more on how to earn it.
