What will be our new world currency?

I believe bitcoin and USD will be two competitors in new world currency and Bitcoin will be the best payment method in the digital world.
Almost countries which have weak currencies, The people want to hold bitcoins as safe assets for them and I also want bitcoin to be our new currency in the future.

I wish that bitcoin will be the new world currency, but so much people in this world still didnt know about coin.
Not all item can be paid with bitcoin nowadays, but USD can be used for all payment. People already trust USD and its hard habit to change.
Maybe USD still and will be the world currency for another 3 decades.

The new world will exist when the current world will be destroyed, no matter what we do as long as there is a government that control the world, fiat is the main money that we will be using. When bitcoin was not discovered, we are already using it and there's no problem with it for any transaction, may it be online or actual physical exchange. That's how strong fiat system is, it cannot be easy replace.

You're right, we all as Bitcoin users have a soft spot for the cryptocurrency but I don't think it will completely substitute fiat anytime soon and if fiat currencies are still going to reign then it's the US dollar that's going to standup high for perhaps another 30 years like the poll suggest.

yes that is a fact that the future of electronic currency will be bitcoin. although people are accepting bitcoin in a large scale. but still i think in some backward areas people still need good information about bitcoin, so that they may also start using bitcoin. bitcoin still need more adoption so that we can enjoy all the facilities that bitcoin can give us.

I know some people who just hate plastic money and thus they will hate bitcoin too. We have to admit that bitcoin won't be the supreme currency anytime in the future because there will be the people who will always use cash and fiat currencies. I am expecting bitcoin to become a universally accepted currency rather than competing currency with dollar or euro.

I chose the option "US Dollar for another 30+ years". Let's look at the other options. All of them are in bad shape, when compared to the USD:

China yuan   - Useless, due to currency manipulation by the government.
Russia ruble   - Lost 50% of the value since 2014.
Zimbabwe dollar   - No longer in circulation.
Bitcoin   - Very small userbase.
Litecoin   - Microscopic userbase.
Gold   - Not a currency
Silver - Not a currency
Euro - Losing value since 2014.

Good point. And i think that would be possible if you look at the growth of bitcoin users in the recent years. Even now more and more people are actually becoming interested about it and i think it is a very good sign for users like us. Though you're right as well that we need to have thr dollar working as well mostly alongside bitcoin if the time comes that it dors become the main digital currency. People can't rely mainly on digital currency so a physical option should still be available

I think it would be important to have a few equal currencies.
They can be exchanged amongst each other, and if one should really get into trouble it will not have too big effects on world economy.
But if I had to name a currency that is going to rule the next century, it will most likely be something in asia.
The chinese Yuan most likely.

China, which is one of the largest oil importers (3d place), is buying oil from Russia (one of the top 2 oil exporters to China, the other being Saudi Arabia) for their national currency, the Chinese Yuan, and from Iran for the Euro. I'm not sure about the EU itself, which is the largest oil importer in the world, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they get most of their oil imports for the Euro as well

That is because USD is the international currency,but if something like bitcoin replace it the price of bitcoin will not compared to usd anymore. I am sure that there are will be the new world currency.

Indeed, maybe it is because they really wanted that bitcoin will become a legal currency interntionaly. Although, there is a big possibility to be happen but it will take more more years before it happen. lets us go with the flow for awhile until the right time comes for the bitcoin community.

I do agreed with you, majority of the member in this forum they replied the same thing. Maybe they wanted bitcoin to become a new world currency. For me isn't obvious that there is big chances to be happen. But while waiting let us witness little by little the world will adopt the concept unique system of bitcoin.

For us, who uses bitcoins, we would like bitcoin be the new world currency, but we must first know what will happen if bitcoin be the new world currency. We shall not be one of those guys who does not think what will happen, or being selfish just to earn a lot of money.
