Yes, the match was one sided. 219 was really a big score in t20. If the partnership was good at the starting with a good run rate, New Zealand bowlers would have staggered. But Indian batsmen didn't develop a strong partnership, and that's the reason for the loss in the match from my opinion.

New boys going to have some good lesson from this series and this is very good decision by Board ad they are going to work for world cup hopefully this defeat will help them and they will fight back by good and positive cricket in next match.

When they want to give rest then they may not pick the players to the squad and they will definitely will give rest to MSD but he is playing so their reason is testing on my assumption.

India actually doing well by giving the chances and to get experience with the one of the best team and considering the ODI series being already won then the changes did took place. So it is actually not a bad idea and might be we will see 1-2 changes again to happen as they lost T20 match badly.

India only lost the 1st T20. T20 and ODI is totally different format, different strategy. I am sure they will come back in the next T20 to tie it 1 - 1. India should focus on their ODI team for the world cup. They have better chance to win the world cup.

I agree as its not a big deal right now with India resting players and trying out other players against one of the top contenders in New Zealand. Its best to try different things against the top teams and get an idea where the players are at for when the time comes for the World Cup. T20/Odi is different formats but still they are similar as ODI matches have changed since T20 was introduced and that is why we see some big totals being scored in ODI matches now compared to before T20 was introduced.

The females match between India and New Zealand had a nail biting finish, all credit goes to the New Zealand team for holding their nerves and winning it in the last ball. I felt team India’s batting disappointed me, but they made it up in ther bowling department but just felt short of a victory. It’ll be interesting if their male counterparts can succeed and beat New Zealand, but for me New Zealand are the favourites to win this match.

I am also wondering what he is talking about. By the way, there is a specific thread for discussing T20 only and this thread is now for one day international and test cricket. I would be better if we keep the discussion about T20 over that thread.

Most of the time, I have seen India won when they play for chasing. On the other hand, if they bat first, no matter how much they score, I always feel like India will lose.
