We are already familiar with American cricket. They performed well in the last T20 World Cup. They were able to defeat a strong team like Pakistan in the group stage and make it to the Super 8. Before the 2024 T20 World Cup, I was not familiar with American cricket at all, but their cricket journey was not bad at all. Multan sultan against Quetta Gladiator squad, Multan Sultan squad was collected 185 scores as a defend which seem high and winning scores but against squad was quite hard and good, they achieved victory by 0 delivery. Khawaja Nafay and Hasan Nawaz both played wonderful inning and both collected 51 and 67 scores respectively.

Alexandra effort was brilliant in bowling and he took down 3 wickets in 4 overs and gave 22 runs. Delmi also helped team to win game by taking 2 wickets of Bangladesh Emerging Players team and gave 19 runs. Simone batting effort was mind blowing and without losing wicket, he made 40 runs in 32 balls and hitted five 4s. Alexandra got a player of game award because his contribution in bowling and batting were good and he made 30 runs in batting.

Maybe the Bangladesh cricket team members weren't as humiliated as they were yesterday because after the series defeat against the United Arab Emirates, we saw spectators abusing the players of the red and green country on the field. In fact the players are responsible for the team's troubles, they performed unnecessarily poorly and lost the series to the United Arab Emirates.

Who is claiming that Donald Trump wants cricket to become popular in the United States? Read my post again. That's not what I said. Trump is encouraging white South Africans to immigrate to the USA. And from media reports, it seems like around 70,000 of them may move in the short-term. Many of these people are having cricketing background and once they settle down in the US, it will indirectly help the growth of cricket in that country. BTW, a lot of the South African whites are already playing for full member nations, such as Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Phillips and Brydon Carse.

Yesterday, the match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United was so fantastic, one sided game for Lahore Qalandars. They are in the final now and let's see if they will make them proud once again. Yesterday, with superb bowling and batting performance, they made their way to the final.

When Islamabad United were on 14, they lost three players. Yesterday, no Sahibzada Farhan played well, and no Rassie van der Dussen, no Salman Agha. Islamabad United overall played a good tournament and their journey is finished now. They were leading the table in the early games and being unbeaten but things have changed drastically.

Earlier in the history of IPL, Shakib Al Hasan was the first cricketer to take the highest number of wickets among Bangladeshi cricketers in IPL, but another Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman broke that record in the last match against Punjab Kings for Delhi Capitals. Mustafizur took three wickets in the last match against Punjab Kings and due to taking these three wickets, his wicket count is more than Shakib Al Hasan's wicket count.

Although Mustafizur Rahman did not get a chance to play in the entire IPL season, Delhi Capitals took Mustafizur in the last three matches instead of Mitchell Starc, where Mustafizur Rahman took the field instead of Mitchell Starc and bowled well. Especially in the first two matches, if any other bowler of Delhi Capitals could have bowled like Mustafizur, then maybe we would have seen Delhi Capitals in the playoffs. However, we must thank Mustafizur Rahman for taking 4 wickets in three matches for Delhi Capitals this season and for his economic bowling.
