Felix Sater, one of Donald Trump’s shadiest former business partners, is reportedly preparing for prison time — and he says the president will be joining him behind bars.

Sources told The Spectator‘s Paul Wood that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s deep dive into Trump’s business practices may be yielding results.

Trump recently made remarks that could point to a money laundering scheme, Wood reported.

“I mean, it’s possible there’s a condo or something, so, you know, I sell a lot of condo units, and somebody from Russia buys a condo, who knows?” the president said.

Sater, who has a long history of legal troubles and is cooperating with law enforcement, was one of the major players responsible for selling Trump’s condos to the Russians.

And according to Wood’s sources, Sater may have already flipped and given prosecutors the evidence they need to make a case against Trump.

For several weeks there have been rumours that Sater is ready to rat again, agreeing to help Mueller. ‘He has told family and friends he knows he and POTUS are going to prison,’ someone talking to Mueller’s investigators informed me.
Sater hinted in an interview earlier this month that he may be cooperating with both Mueller’s investigation and congressional probes of Trump.

“In about the next 30 to 35 days, I will be the most colourful character you have ever talked about,” Sater told New York Magazine. “Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it now, before it happens. And believe me, it ain’t anything as small as whether or not they’re gonna call me to the Senate committee.”

Its kinda obvious at this point Trump is/was a money laundering front for Russian oligarchs; you buy expensive real estate, sell cheap back to Trump, and your money is legal. This is to subvert the Magnitsky Act; small wonder why Don Jr was discussing the very same act with known Russian operatives. You have to be blind not to see this at this point; there are even anomalous real estates deals (buys property for 10 mil, holds for a year or two, sells back to Trump for 5 mil) on the public record; this isnt debatable at this point as well. Since this is known, and Mueller is clearly pursuing this angle, it will be up to Trumps lawyers to paint this in a better light. Kusher will be complicit as well; all the real estate dudes that hang with Trump will be complicit.

If they convict Trump, they will say "treason". If they find out that he is being blackmailed or coerced, which also seems obvious to me, they will say "high treason". He has so much general dislike that at this point, he may see jail. Deep State! Last Friday, the government said its first reading on the gross domestic product in the second quarter was a 2.6 percent growth pace, which was 0.2 point below Atlanta Fed's final estimate.

Gun Sales Have Dropped Since Trump's Election

Fears that Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton would win the election and limit gun sales led to record purchases last year, but Trump's surprise victory has had a reverse effect, with 2017 sales falling and investors selling gunmaker shares.

U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation background checks in July fell 25% to 907,348, according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation. That was the worst year-over-year decline in background checks since November 2013, a year after Democratic President Barack Obama won his second election.

Background checks are a strong proxy for monthly gun sales, whose figures manufacturers do not publicly release.

Reflecting lower demand for guns, Sturm Ruger & Company (rgr, +1.13%) on Thursday reported revenue for the quarter ending on July 1 down 22% at $132 million. The company said the drop was due to unusually strong demand last year related to the Nov. 8 election.
