Liverpool is struggling after losing at home against bottom team Swansea. Liverpool is trailing Southampton after losing in the first leg by 1-0.
The handicap is generous for Southampton in the sense that Liverpool needs to win to qualify for the League Cup finals. I think it would be a difficult match and Liverpool would win by 1 goal at most based on their current form. I am going to bet on Southampton +1-1/4.

We need to look at the first half if liverpool really played seriously and want to get this trophy then they have to play with all the key players is not a second-tier.

i think that Liverpool wanted to go to the finals but Southampton did good in this game as they defended very well and Liverpool didn't lucky in front of the goal and they made it hard for themselves when they lost the first leg 1-0 and that helped Southampthon a lot in getting the finals unfortunately Manchester United woulld like to secure a title this season with Mourinho so they should not miss this chance.

Unpredictable, I hate with this result. And damn,,,,, because liverpool vs southampton I lost 0.25 BTC. liverpool performance is very unstable, I think a new contract Coutinho could trigger him and team spirit to advance to the finals. But the prediction was wrong.

True Southampton did defend well and was predictable that they would defend as they had the 1-0 lead in the 1st leg. Winning the 1st leg does help go a long way as it put's a lot of pressure on the other team in this case Liverpool as they needed to score 2 goals to take the lead and when you have a team defending it makes it very hard. So it was going to be tough for Liverpool and it showed. I agree I think Man Utd want to win the EFL Cup and so would Mourinho as it's better to have a trophy in a season then no trophies.

I'm not.  I would have looooved to see a Man United vs Liverpool League Cup final.  The fans from both sides would go crazy.  Anyway, yeah...  Liverpool is starting to have a bad run.    I personally am betting on Chelsea +0 at 2.19 odds.  I'm also thinking of betting on Swansea +0 at 2.22 odds vs Southampton.  The Saints should be a little fatigued after a tough match vs LFC away.  Swansea on the other hand is the team showing they don't wanna be relegated.  And of course, <3 Llorente.

What happen with BPL referee?

Enough is enough now. These refs cannot do their job. I cannot believe how poor the quality of refereeing has been recently. It's like they've all been paid off to make these huge mistakes. It's time for technology, no doubt about it. Football is so far behind every other sport when it comes to technology it's beyond a joke. We have the technology to sort these mistakes, and we need to use it. The refs cannot do their job well enough.

They need to change the rules for video replay on decisions like in rugby.  Rugby never lost any popularity because of video replaying everything.  False offsides decisions are as crazy as balls over line which weren't given before goal line tech came in.

Yes, that's the one best solution. Without video replay would make the referee considered factor a censure from the losing team. It is urgent because of many decisions that are very detrimental. The match will still be interesting and there won't be any more complaints, that's a great match without the decision of the referee errors.

Dunno what to say about Liverpool i mean i expected to see them in final with Manchester but seem like they will not be here even MNU might got bad game but still they have 2 goals advantage. But for Hull to achieve this they will need to play really good they can win but dunno if they can win with two goals margin.

As usual Liverpool are the focus of attack so as to forget the defense, making it easy opponents counterattack. It is unfortunate because Liverpool is actually controlled the ball and should have scored.
To match Manchester United vs Hull City later I feel is dominated by Manchester United and will be easy to get into the finals. Although later Manchester United lost 0-1 but they still will enter the final as aggregate win. You're absolutely right this is a chance Manchester United.
