EFL Cup: MAN United vs Southampton
A final is always dangerous, and I wouldn't recommend on betting on either side, as it could go either way. I will gladly go with Both Teams to Score here, as both teams need this cup, each for its own reasons.

Damn Harry Kane is a one man war machine. 35 minutes in the first half and already scored a hat trick. I think he got back to back hat tricks because he had another last match for the FA cup vs Fulham. I am gonna start picking Kane hat trick from now on just in case

Man United Vs Southampton

I am going with under 2.5 goals. Southampton knocked out Arsenal and Liverpool in the League Cup competition. What is unbelievable is Southampton has not conceded any goal in this competition. This is the finals and Mourinho will play cautiously as well. Don't expect many goals from this game.

Harry Kane bags another Hat-trick and is not the joint top goal scorer in the EPL along with Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez and they all scored 17 goals each. Spurs played really well and they managed to score impressive 4 goals against a decent Stoke side. They are back to the 2nd spot but are 10 points behind the league leaders Chelsea.

Its Cup time, a major cup on the line for both the clubs. Though Manchester United need it more than anything and they will go all the mile. Again Southampton are a good team and they will offer a really tough fight. With Mkhitaryan out I don't feel Manchester United will really be scoring to much. I feel it will be 1-0 Manchester United cause you have Zlatan who will. Want to win a silver and you can count on Mourinho to bring his A game on the field. As a Manchester United fan hoping they win it.

The game started and half time score is Man United 2 - 1 Southampton. The match looks very interesting still half time play is there. I think in the second half we will get some goals from both teams. But it's difficult to predict the game result in this match. They have gone on and scored 2 goals to tie this one up at the start of the second half and have the momentum in their favor now.
They just might go on to win this match and take the cup championship away from the favorites manchester united.

It was a close one for sure.
3-2 final was too close to call and really thought it was going to go into penalty kicks to decide the outright winner with all the chances Southampton had to score the last 20 minutes of play.

That was a very entertaining EFL Cup final even though I lost my bet on Southampton to win it was a great game to watch. Southampton were unlucky to lose as they dominated the game but Ibrahimovic stole the show and broke Southampton basically winning the game for Man Utd. Mourinho has now won four League Cups, to equal the record of Sir Alex Ferguson and Brain Clough. Mourinho became the first manager to win a trophy in his first season in charge of United. Great game and congrats to Man Utd on winning another trophy.

Sadly, after spending 600+ million euros in last 4 summer transfer windows, nowhere + they need to decide what to do with Rooney and a lot of other players. ManU is lucky Ibra didn't pick up injury whole season, but it will happen sooner or later, and if they don't qualify for UCL I doubt Ibra will extend his contract, but even if he stays they need a long-term solution for the team... relying on Ibra will backfire sooner or later (next October he will be 36 years old), keeping him would remind me of SAF last seasons when he had Giggs, Scholes, Neville, Van der Saar in the team.

Yeah, what a free kick though on his first goal on that match. Congrats for Manchester United for winning the second Cup on this year, next is EL and FA, i think Man United can win 1 more cup this year on Europa League. They have a big chance to win this one and if they win on EL, they will qualify automatically on Champions League.

Lost my bet on this one.  The Saints played their hearts out and deserved a draw but Ibrahimovic made the difference.  It's really impressive that for a guy his age he could still deliver in the most important matches he plays.  All hail to the king indeed.

I expect Man United to to surge and get in the top 4 by the end of the season.  Arsenal and Liverpool better stay focused.  I think one of those clubs will start dropping points towards the end of the season.
