Napoli hasn't had it in the last games. Can we still speak of an incident? Perhaps in the most important period of the year they drop a lot of stitches and miss points. I think both inter and milan lost focus after their results in the champoins league, Milan result was better after getting one point from bologna stadium but inter lose to Monza wasn't really expected, they wasted a big opportunity to jump to the 4th place and they may regret losing 3 points against a weak team like Monza

Is better for them to be in the next Champions the next year over to going in the final this year and probably lose to Real or City.

Well, even though Milan only got a 1-1 draw, but at least Milan is still better than Napoli who couldn't even score a goal. Also, if I compare the positions of Bologna and Verona, it seems very clear that Bolgna is in the top ten and Verona is in the relegation zone, but Napoli still failed to beat Verona..

I don't know what happened to Napoli, they haven't looked too good recently, is it because they have achieved their goal in Serie A? something surprising also happened to Milan who were also held to a draw by Bologna. and the most disappointing is Inter Milan who had to lose to Monza. this is the worst.

Agree with this, they better have the priority to maintain their position than to fight and have to lose in the final because the conditions still allow for a major defeat.
Basically now City and Madrid are candidates and of course they also have to think about the semi-final with the derby with the biggest clubs in Serie A at the moment if they manage to beat benfica.

I'm not surprised with the results Napoli and Milan got because they have a really important game ahead in the Champions League against each other. However I didn't understand how Inter lost against Monza in a home game. They surely have a game also in the Champions League. But they have already captured a huge advantage by beating Benfica 2-0 away.

Therefore I expected Inter to focus on the Monza game completely and win it to finish this winless streak for many weeks. Winning this game was going to carry them ahead of Milan and maybe even Roma depending on the result of the Roma - Udinese game.

At least ac milan was not losing but the competition to get into the top 4 becomes even harder for ac milan. Lost two points can be considered as big losses this time. I think it was obvious from the player choices in the lineups that Napoli and Milan both were thinking of the rematch in their Champions League matchup. None of them wanted to risk their most important players in a Serie A match. This was the right call for both of them I think. Napoli were already very comfortable in the Serie A so they didn't need to risk anything at all. But it wasn't totally the same for Milan though. Because they need to get good results as many as possible to secure a position in top four.

But lucky them that Inter lost to Monza home surprisingly. I thought Inter would put an end to this bad series but it still continues. It looks like their mind is also busy with the rematch against Benfica in the Champions League.  

Yes, I see Milan and Napoli being very careful in tonight's game. They don't want to take risks because these two teams seem more focused on the Champions League. I'm still okay that Napoli is the currently leading team in the Europa League. Among the list of teams like Napoli is Lazio. The only difference is that,  while Napoli discovered their form earlier, Lazio was still struggling to have chained winnings. I wish Lazio was able to do well like this at the beginning of the season or after the return from the Qatar 2023 world cup.

But it's a shame Bologna weren't able to exert much pressure when they took the lead so AC Milan were able to score the equalizing goal in the 40th minute.

With this result it doesn't change anything for ac milan's ranking because they are lucky that inter was defeated by monza in this week's match so there is no shift in ranking in the top 4.

That was already in my mind where AC Milan was able to finish the previous match quite perfectly, even before the match started I was sure that AC Milan was able to beat Bologna but the results on the field were quite different from what I thought.

It is hard to understand what's going on with all this mess today! It started with Milan and Napoli unexpected draw in their respective games and ended up with Inter losing vs Monza. Top teams...playing in Champions League Quarter-finals and two of them might advance to semi-finals yet they are missing easy games!
We will see Roma, Juve and Atalanta results even though the ranking will remain the same.

Inter had got so many chances but it doesn't have proper finishing. I meant let's take a look at how intermilan was able header the ball so many times toward monza's goal keeper, but none of these headers by intermilan were accurrated. The problem is now if intermilan keeps lose more and more points and it will make the club to be surpassed by another club like atalanta and juventus. Seeing how bad the performance from intermilan. 4 loses and 1 draw in the last five matches. Intermilan is still in the fifth position now, but juventus and atalanta become even closer. It will be so hard of intermilan keeps losing points in upcoming match.

Intermilan was always using lukaku as starting line up but this guy didn't have proper finishing. Lukaku has been getting golden chances a few times. None of these chances converted into the accurate shots. Simeone inzaghi is feeling disappointed with the result from the match. There must be an evaluation for the defenders. There's no defender who guarded luca caldirola. Caldirola got free space, and it was able maximizing the chance to create a goal for monza and that has become the only goal that was making monza able to get full points from intermilan.

If intermilan keeps performing like that and UCL will be just a dream for intermilan. Poor intermilan.

Maybe many people think that Monza is a weak team but in fact they defeated Juventus twice (home and away) this season and they also managed to get 1 point in the first match against Inter last January. On the other side, Inter Milan is obviously showing unstable performance since last month especially in Serie A. Their last 5 matches before yesterday match were with 1W 1D and 3L. Of course the last defeat is like a waste of great opportunity to overtake the 4th position from Milan. This situation will be dangerous for them if they cant improve their performance in the remaining matches in Serie A because Atalanta and Juventus may overtake their position.

I watched the match, it was a good performance from Verona. I know it wouldn't have been like that,  but it happens due to some certain factors. we all know that Napoli is far ahead of their contenders and no matter how they loose, it wouldn't be to an extent of being kicked off from their position. And this has affected their performance even in the Champion league.  Today's draw against Verona was a hard one to fathom.

I think, Napoli coach have to do something fast so that the team can return back to their positive active because many people are not happy the way the match ended up draw 0-0 with Verona. This match showed that Napoli are really missing Victor Osimhen, because he know how to struggle for ball to get access to the goalpost to achieve goals at the moment but it was so difficult for other Napoli strikers to score a single goal from the match than to allow the match to end without a goal. I believe, Napoli coach will definitely get it right in their next match because by then some of their players will recover from injury so that they can improve their points again.

Predicting Inter Milan is too hard because they are not stable at all, during all the games we saw from Inter Milan they had bad performance recently even when they were in the second position of the table they lost points against the teams they could easily win but they failed against Monza they had enough mistakes to give chance to Monza beating them.

That's another shitty performance from intermilan. Three games and not even a single goal. It seems like that if intermilan will be going down even deeper than what i have expected before. Monza was just entering into the serie this season and intermilan was losing against monza at home. What a stupid performance by intermilan. Intermilan played like they didn't know what they are doing. Lukaku is the worst man in the field. I don't even think interimlan will still be able to stay in the top 5 if the club played like shit.
Cardiola has ever become a part of intermilan's academy in the past. He was coming as an opponent and able to win against intermilan at home.

I don't even understand the way coaches think about the performance of clubs these days. The performance of club is not bad = lose? It's out of my logic. a team that has bad performance will always be losing the match no matter how big scores that already been made.

but in the end Milan only ended in a draw against Bologna. We can't see from the previous match that Milan at that time was able to beat Napoli but the funny thing is that Napoli when they met the weak team below him, Napoli seemed to give in and in the Milan vs Napoli match it was clear that Milan won.
somehow every good team meets the team below it always gives a bad performance. but on the contrary when Milan met Bologna it only ended in a draw. weird isn't it?
