Roma did a really great work today by beating Udinese. It was a comfortable win by 3-0 as well. I was doubting them a little because of having a rematch in the Europa League. But they still kept their focus on and finished off Udinese. Udinese are really far away from their look at the first times of the season. They were fighting for the lead then but now they are in the middle of the standings.

They did hard work to get three points in that match, but Roma won very well without conceding a goal, the score of 3-0 was a very comfortable victory for Roma. On other side, Udinese now has a not so good record, in the last three matches they have no winning record, and yes it was really different with start of this season because they very consistent to collect points on early but now they are stay away from a better position.

It is funny how Sassuolo usually have won at home against Juventus even when Juventus were fighting for the title and even have won it,they used to lose the game at Sassuolo,I remember the 2-1 lost game of them in the season where Sassuolo was just promoted to Serie A a couple of seasons ago.

However it is not only Juventus who have screwed up,all the big teams,Milan,Napoli and Inter screwed up their games and Juventus was just a continuation of such happening,for this week I never remember a Serie A with more surprise results than this week where all the big teams except Lazio who won comfortably and Roma who is winning now,all of them did not win their games.

Yeah exactly. This week has been one of the worst match weeks for most of top teams in the league. Only Roma and Lazio were able to get a win and they were really easy ones as well. Of course there is a reason behind those point losses as well. Their mind must have been busy with their matches in European cups. However Roma were also in the same situation but they didn't want to care less about their Serie A match. Because it was another important match for them to keep themselves in top four.

Milan are lucky to finish the week in top four anyway thanks to Inter's unexpected loss. Seriously how can Inter lose that match?

Roma played very well today's match 3-0 win against Udinese was a big score for Roma. Roma are now only 6 points behind Lazio which is not a huge gap.  If you play well in the next 2-3 matches  Roma can overtake Lazio and compete strongly with Napoli. Roma have high chances to do well in the Italian league this season.  Roma is one of my favorite teams. Good things can be expected from Roma and their future is bright

At a time when other top teams were not getting maximum results, such as Milan and Inter, now Roma had enough to prove their consistency to move up to 3rd place in the standings after yesterday they managed to beat Udinese with a score of 3-0. It's definitely the fruit of the patience Mourinho's men have shown in recent weeks and they really deserve it.

On the other hand, Roma are now 5 points away from 2nd place Lazio and I think they will be able to overtake Lazio if they continue to be consistent like they are now. But what is certain is that Roma still have to struggle in two different competitions and Mourinho must really be able to manage the stamina of his players in order to get the desired results.

This is not going to get them to finish in the top four. They are certainly grateful to finish outside the top four if they do not start performing better immediately.

Milan is not currently facing too much pressure from Inter at all because currently Inter is not performing well, and that is indirectly being very helpful for Milan. Atalanta will surely try to win the next match by a goal difference of at least 2 because that is going to take them ahead of Inter.

I don't really care about Inter's loss against Monza, but what concerns me is what happened to AC Milan. When Milan have the chance to add more points, it's always as I think, they didn't win. Maybe A draw is a better results than a loss, but while AC Milan still needs a lot of points to lock in 4th place, they still show an annoying inconsistency.

Atalanta will be facing fiorentina today in a tough away game, its an important game for atalanta since it might allow them to take inter place in case of a win and they absulotely need to avoid losing to keep a safe distance from juventus, this should put some pressure on the players and after seeing the list of absent players am not sure they can beat a team like fiorentina.

Well Rome in this game is really extraordinary. But I am also quite impressed with Udinese's performance in this match. even though they lost but they put up a good fight in this match. AS Roma took advantage of this fight to get full points and it worked. And currently Roma has 56 points in 3rd place in the standings. while Milan this week can only collect 1 point so their current number of points is 53 points and they are currently ranked 4th. but what was most unexpected was Inter Milan who actually had to drop points because they lost to Monza. so that Inter Milan is currently ranked 5th with a total of 51 points.

Juventus were not just lucky in the game , it is not even as if their performance was bad.
Juventus just see's it so difficult to score goals and Juventus will be meeting with sporting in europa league,  if they still find it to score goals it will be big problem for them

The match was competitive and the winner was Sassuolo, the home team.  Therefore, the 3 points lost by Juventus will be a huge loss for them.  The score in the Fiorentina-Atalanta match to be played today is important.  If Atalanta wins, it will further increase the points gap with Juventus.  Juventus is a serious danger for Atalanta right now.

I do agree that second team is not better than Sassoulo, I mean I get that normally they should be better but they are about to go on Europa game and that is a lot more important for them, they know they will not do anything in the league and can lose all the games left and it still wouldn't matter which is why they work hard on Europa, either they win that or they win nothing else, that's the only cup left.

This is why I understand why they played bench players mostly and they wanted the main team to rest. This way they will have the main team rested and will be able to play a lot better and get a win and go to next stage. They have to, there is no alternatives for them, the alternate is to have a failed terrible season.

Ac milan and Inter are not very consistent in their games , the both teams has similar results. Ac milan is just ahead of Inter with 2 points,  if care is not taken they will lose the fourth position. I'm sure Atalanta are trying their best to be in the fourth position,  Inter and ac milan might lose it if they try to work on their performance.

AS Roma's victory this week was quite profitable for them because their competitors had bad results this week and so AS Roma is now 5 points ahead of Inter Milan who are ranked 5th in the standings.
regardless of whether they can catch Lazio or not in 2nd place in the Serie A standings, the most important thing in my opinion is that AS Roma can finish in the top 4 and get a ticket to next season's UCL.

As Roma managed to take advantage of the negative results achieved by Milan and Inter. The victory over Udinese has now made Roma even more determined to continue to occupy the top four positions. If you want to reach that target, Roma must continue to be able to maintain the game like the match against Udinese.

But Rome is certainly not completely safe to be in the top four. The schedule for the remaining matches until the end of the season that Roma must face is quite heavy. I am also surprised by Inter's current condition, they are really having a hard time winning in Serie A. But the unique thing is that Inter have been able to perform well in the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

I suspect that the defeat to Monza was because they wanted to focus more on the Champions League. But it would also be a shame if they also failed in the Champions League and threw away enough important points in Serie A and would potentially lose their chance to finish in the top four. I also think that Inzaghi is also very confused about such a situation.

I remember they appealed the 15 point penalty and their appeal was denied, I may be misremembering. If their 15-point penalty is cleared, they will move to second place in the league. AS Roma have done the right thing with this victory, making them get quite a lot of additional points and making them into the top three at the top of the standings. To be honest, it was such an important win for Roma following the Milan vs Bologna draw. Roma was able to take advantage of their opportunities well to secure their position in the top 3 with 3 points more than Milan. Meanwhile, Milan is still on top 4 at the moment with 53 points after drawing in their last 2 matches. Milan has been the only team that has been the most unstable in its last 5 matches compared to 3 other teams in the top 4.

They won their last Serie A game like six weeks ago, but for some reason they beat Benfica in the first leg. This is odd and I think it is quite some time ago that I saw a team performing so bad, but still being in the champions league and still top five in the Serie A. In the last five games there is only one team that was as bad as Inter and that was Lecce. Additionally they are still in the Coppa as well and the result wasn't too bad in Turin either!

Now they are losing game after game but perform decently in the other competitions. It must be a touch decision for the management to stick to Inzaghi, but what are you going to do when you can still win two titles but play bad in the league? You can't even sack him...

But they should at least give him a warning that they are expecting better things from him in the future, right? If he is not warned, I believe he will not probably be serious about his approach. It is not acceptable, the way they are performing in league competitions.

Both Milan teams (AC Milan and Inter Milan) are falling behind two Rome teams (Lazio and Roma) and their gaps with Lazio at the second position becomes bigger in last several weeks. AC Milan has always been like that. The last season they were very lucky to actually win the title. But this time the luck is finally running out for them in my opinion. Almost all the teams have been inconsistent this season, except for two, Napoli and Juventus .
