I had completely forgot that they will face each other also on the Champions League but I think that this was just a mistake from Napoli not focusing completely on this game as they are a lot of points ahead of every one in Serie A so I don't take this as an eye opener.Milan has been one of the most inconsistent team that exists for this season in Serie A and even when they qualified in Champions against Tottenham it was more luck than merit as they defended in the return leg against Tottenham.

Besides, UCL is a completely different tournament from the local leagues.  I have seen teams not perform so well in the local leagues but then go ahead and win the UCL and vice versa.

you're right, how does the side of luck approach ac milan when they are able to record a win with a big score isn't this the effort they put in hard enough to get this victory.

in the ucl match ac milan returns to face Napoli and can we convict that Napoli has a greater chance of beating ac milan not necessarily that will happen or in theory we have seen the game from ac milan in the match earlier with the effort they put in being able to overwhelm the opponent in balance their game.

I think this lost game of Napoli is because everybody betting on them and they screwing up everyone,it will happen sometime that a great team will have a bad day.I hope this game raises their odd to qualify in Champions as I am going to bet a lot of money on them to qualify further,I am sure they can beat Milan.

I do think Napoli should take this as an eye opener cause it is and should begin to go over on what they did wrong in the recently played game so it wouldn’t repeat itself again.
Irrespective of AC Milan being somewhat inconsistent this season, I wouldn’t say it was just luck that has carried them through the group stages and into the quarterfinals of the Champions League. They’ve worked really hard and fully deserve to be where they’re currently at.
Napoli should not underestimate Milan cause we could very well see a repeat of todays score line when they meet again in the Champions League.

Napoli's losing the game against Milan by 4-0 home was a really big surprise to me. I was expecting Napoli to win this game despite being very comfortable for the league title already. But they just couldn't prevent this big loss. On the other hand this was an important win for Milan. Because they are trying to qualify for the Champions League at least.

Very surprising of course. The result of the match was truly beyond the expectations of many people. I didn't expect Napoli to lose 4-0 at home to AC Milan, even though the Rossoneri were on a bad streak. What a great performance of Milan we saw today. It's really unthinkable.  Milan beating Napoli 4-0 was incredible.  Milan made the impossible possible today. Napoli have nothing to do but be embarrassed today. AC Milan now occupy the 3rd position and now their target is to overtake Lazio to move to the 2nd position. However, it is possible for Milan to overtake Lazio.  However, with Napoli still 20 points ahead, it is very difficult to overcome them. So even if Milan beat Napoli today, it is doubtful that Milan can overtake Napoli on points table.

This was the start of their fight. Actually, in this case, I don't regret Napoli's defeat because they will definitely have several matches like this, especially since it doesn't really matter whether they win or lose in the standings.

I wouldn’t say AC Milan’s victory was borne out of luck alone. They had played really well and fully deserve the 4 goals they scored that ultimately gave them the victory. Simply put, Milan dominated the game and outperformed Napoli. I too didn’t anticipate an AC Milan win and definitely didn’t see Napoli conceding 4 goals.

Osimhen is but one player and football is a team effort. No matter how good and instrumental he may be while playing, there is only so much he could do on his own.
With the loss suffered by Napoli, they should restrategize in order to perform much better when they meet again in the champions league quarter finals.

I didn't watch the game, but I don't think the Champions League match will be similar to tonight's match. AC Milan needed the points, and they sought and earned them. Napoli doesn't need the points, and their positive streak without defeat at their stadium was broken with the loss against Lazio. Therefore, the incentive to win or avoid defeat is weak. However, they remain the top candidate to pass to the semi-finals and finals of the Champions League.

Regarding the current performance of both teams and their previous results, I find it unexpected and the most surprising part is the number of goals scored by Milan. They owned the game and Napoli altogether.
Napoli players were out of the game like it doesn't worth anything for them which should not happen even if they almost guaranteed the scudetto.
Next game between them in UCL will give us a clearer idea about which team is better.

AC Milan victory from Napoli change with current Serie A standing and success move up to 3rd position awhile make Inter have dropped to 4th standings. Napoli has 16 points gap with Lazio so obviously this loses won't be affect for their position on standings league but indeed this lose isn't acceptable because usually they always be performing well for almost each matches and before the match AC Milan is not the favourite especially their recent performance were not stable compared to Napoli however if i am not mistaken this is Napoli's first defeat with a big score this season and Spaletti should be evaluate this lost for upcoming matches

On the other hand today we will see the match between Sassuolo vs Torino and i was tempting to bet for Sassuolo win for this match it because their performance were so impressive they even passed 9 matches with only lose once and gets 6 wins and they also has successfully to beat big teams such as AC Milan and Roma before and Sassuolo win has odds @2.45
