Bologna have been playing quite decently against bigger teams recently. They got one point against Lazio and beat Atalanta last week. After these results I started to think they wouldn't lose to Milan home that easy as well. Milan are a very unstable team currently as you have seen. They can beat Napoli by a big score but they can't even beat Empoli only a week later. It wouldn't make me surprised if they have big difficulties against Bologna as well. I know they beat Bologna once in San Siro but who knows.

Milan had better improve this performance to keep themselves in top four until the end of the season. Because they are most likely to be eliminated in the Champions League sooner or later. They need to focus on joining the Champions League with the help of their place in the Serie A.

I was not expecting Juventus to suffer defeat in the hands of Lazio based on their recent form, I thought the game was going end in a tie but Zaccagni's 53th minutes goal became the decider. Lazio has been playing well and beating Juventus shows that they deserve the second spot. It was good business as usual for Napoli as they won Leece to maintain their 16th point lead on the table. I don't think Inter Milan don't focus on Serie A but they just don't have good performances recently. In Champions League, Inter Milan did not actually play too impressively and they won matches on slim verges between win it or lose it. In a match with Benfica, they did not play much better than Benfica but eventually they got a super late second goal which likely will help them to appear in semi finals.

Atalanta have been in a pretty bad shape for many weeks in the league. They tried to improve their form by getting some wins lately but they got another loss against Bologna home this time.

This was a pretty unexpected loss by the way. After that improvement I wouldn't expect this from Atalanta. They are doing everything they can to throw their chance for even top 4 now. They are still not far away from there though but they can't afford more losses like this. Because I don't think the teams above would continue to lose points for a longer time.
