I agree that Roma are in a decent condition in the league right now. And they have still many games to go in this season. They still can qualify for even the Champions League by ending as the fourth team but it would be really difficult at the same time. The current fourth team in the standings are Atalanta now. And they are having another solid season also. Roma should be able to defeat Atalanta first of all and they are going to play home against Atalanta in one month. If they make it, then I would believe in Roma more to make it.

70% bet leaning towards to Roma, no doubt about it. Jose Mourinho and squad can easily beat Genoa at home. Lorenzo Pellegrini has recovered and so do the others, seems AS Roma is in the full squad. The good news, is Diawara also stayed in Roma until this session. But, AS Roma are easily satisfied, after 1 goal the possibility Mourinho will change formation to defend. and hold it after the finish.

A one-goal lead is too slippery to start defending once you've reached it - especially when playing at home against an underdog. You set the Atlanta team as an example. And I agree with you. Atlanta is a great team. We don't see too many star players in this team. Yet their performance is excellent. Each player is playing well in his position. And their performance at the end of the day is excellent. Roma's coach is experienced. Now they need experienced players. And of course management has to spend money and have the mentality to buy the necessary players.

I would guess that a team that was 7th in the league last year, adding just even Mourinho himself without anyone, should have been doing better than 7th this season, they are only 6th and with just 2 points above Fiorentina who is missing one game. So, I would guess that it is not really looking that good for them.

I am not saying that they are terrible or anything like, they are "decent enough" but they are under their expectations by a mile. I guessed they wanted to be in the UCL spots by this time of the season and be above Atalanta, looking at the situation right now, they are not there or anywhere close to that right now.

Roma is surely the biggest disappointment of this season even Mou completely fail to bring some positive things for having good spot now most chances they will fight against Lazio and Florentina for the place of UEFA Europa cup because they have no chance for going on top four for any chance of Champions League spot right now we have already five teams these are giving their best for these places and these are much better in quality and performance for staying their specially after Juventus good form bring them to fifth, and now they are doing their best for some better result all above teams are on good level for these spot and Roma is very unpredictable for this all many times they give points against very weak teams which is now giving them some good pain for higher spot.

No problem, Atalanta must be able to prove that they deserve to secure 1 place in the top 4 if they manage to win the tough match that awaits them next. If Atalanta win vs Cagliari then they will manage to keep a safe distance from Juventus by 4 points. I don't think they will fail even if they get unpleasant pressure from Juventus.

Atalanta's performance in the last few match has been unstable and they have struggled to win match so Juventus managed to take advantage of the situation to keep chasing. Juventus have more serious opponents this week than Atalanta with Verona currently in good form to win the match. I think juventus have what it takes to displace Atlanta in the table,I don't think Atlanta have enough depth in there team to finish the season stronger than juventus but I give it to them(Atlanta) they have been qualifying for the champions in previous years but this year the older team are stronger than them( Inter, Milan and Napoli ) the only other chance is for them to beat juventus to the top four.

They fail to end in top 4 for some seasons so that even in that humble competition, little people think they can fight and achieve it if their coach is not Mourinho. To be fair for Mourinho, he brings some good motivation for Roma players in this season and I expect him to do better things for the club in the rest of this season, especially for the next season.

Now, he understands more about strength as well as weakness of players and the team so that he will have more solid plans to improve the club by some necessary transfers in summer. I don't see conflict between Mourinho and Roma players and so far it looks like they are happy with Mourinho which will be one of solid foundations for their success in near future. Another good point is Roma director board does not have plan to sell their key players and it means they will mostly improve their squad by better quality players.

Atalanta is a fairly consistent team in Serie A, in the last 3 seasons it has always been in the top 4. So Atalanta's chances are quite big this season
as well as maintaining their position in the top 4. But seeing the performance of Juventus which has shown a pretty good improvement in the last

I want to see AS Roma back to glory and participant on champion league next season but is not easy still left 5 points behind Atlanta and still consistent performance by Juventus looks most competitive who will finish on fourth position standing. I don't see any potential for AS Roma if not consistent playing well on every match, always have bad result when faced with bigger team and failed get three points. Still have Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan waiting for AS Roma left Serie A match, lets see can Jose Mourinho bring back AS Roma to champion league as the first manager in this season.
