Was expecting a really rough match and a win from Napoli,but to see such a hard win over Sassuolo is just insane. 6-1 is just humiliating and Sassuolo should really think about their gameplay. While Napoli got all their emotions and just destroyed them,probobly a win that Napoli needed badly for their confidence to grow.

This season, Napoli very often goes to extremes, very confident victories are replaced by failed streaks. Napoli retains the theoretical chances, but for the remaining three rounds they will not change anything, the likelihood that Inter and Milan will lose points and allow Napoli to become a champion is very small. And such a confident victory over Sassuolo, which is just finishing the remaining matches of the season, is a small consolation.

Napoli had been challengers for the title this season, but entering the month of April disaster befell them, Il Partenopei lost quite a lot of points and the most painful thing was when Napoli unexpectedly surrendered 2-3 to Empoli so they were out of the competition.  

But Napoli's big result when they knocked out Sassuolo was enough to cheer up their fans, Napoli are currently still in third place and their realistic hope is to secure a ticket to the champions league next season. To note, Napoli have not won the Serie A title since 1987 and 1990. At that time, Napoli was strengthened by football legend from Argentina, Diego Maradona.

after inter milan slips .. lazio that looking for securing european competition might be in big trouble , despite they are dominating the game , spezia played it much more effective and even managed to lead , even though now the game are on 2-2 at 55' as lazio successfully make it draw , i still had the feeling spezia could make lazio slipped as well, we'll see.

I really appreciated Napoli's performance a lot today. They had one of their best games in this season as they erased Sassuolo by 6-1. I was wondering why they weren't playing this much eager to win lately. They lost eight points in three weeks before this game and it looks like it will cost their chance for the league title now. But Juventus are right behind them in the standings so it would still be good for them to defend the third spot against Juventus until the end of the season. I still am not sure about it as I see Juventus as more reliable these days.

They seemed to have woken up by now but it would be quite late at this point considering they had almost fallen far enough behind to catch up to the hunt.
It would be better if they did do this from the previous weeks but indeed this can no longer be changed.
they can now only pray that Inter and Milan slip as usual and they take the opportunity well because indeed it will be a bit difficult considering their current points and the remaining games to play

Napoli is now only four points behind league leaders Milan, and I believe they still have a chance to win the title with three games remaining. Though it will be difficult for them because both AC Milan and Inter Milan are in good condition, therefore one of them will undoubtedly be crowned Italian Seria A champions. However, I am confident that Napoli's place in the Champions League has been secured.

Juventus' performance this season has been quite impressive, I said that Juventus might not be able to enter the UCL next season at the beginning. However, Allegri managed to change everything in half season, Juventus even had the potential to reach 1st position, unfortunatelly the poor results they got in the last few matches, including the defeat against Sassuolo made their point to get to number 1, it can be said to be difficult or even imposisible. UCL target next season is the most realistic for Juve this season.

Impressive? They are but fourth in the league right now, I really doubt that we could call that impressive as it stands. I get that they have been better for the second half of the season and that gave people some hope, but that "a few bad results" came with bad teams and that resulted with them not being even higher, could have beaten out Napoli by now if they won those games.

I am not saying they are bad, they are  a good team but at the end of the day they are not the greatest, hence I do not think that it would be really that great to put them in the impressive region, I would say they are just but a decent team in a decent league but nothing special.

Indeed, I also find it difficult to understand Napoli sometimes they appear inconsistent but not as good as this match, moreover the goal scored by Mertens was quite impressive with good accuracy. Lazio is still not safe because of the thin points with Roma indeed, but next match of Roma versus Bologna will be quite a tough job. The reason is that Bologna is very good with Draw results.

Not all teams can be beaten easily even though previously Napoli really had a good performance. Napoli have not managed to maximize points in their last few matches where they have 2 defeats and 1 draw in the last 5 appearances.

Milan is currently quite successful in taking advantage of the defeat of Napoli and Inter so that they are 2-4 points ahead of these two tough competitors. Milan will host Fiorentina tomorrow, it is an important match to win if they are to lead the standings until the 35th match. I think Milan will win, but always no one dares to guarantee it.

It was almost a drawn a match until Francesco Acerbi scored a goal in 90' and made Lazio victory the match in the very last time.
Lazio should thank him because he is likely the victory decisive for Lazio.
The match was quite interesting, but Lazio performance seemed litle bit worrying

Even with the 6-1 win by Napoli, I don’t think they do have hope of winning the Seria-A. Milan do have some tough games coming up like that of Atlanta and Fiorentina. I suspect a draw in one of those but even at that if any team has to  Clinch the title then it has to be Inter. Inter has been a bit more consistent lately if not for the goal keeper error and one can really see that zeal to win the title back to back.. Napoli had the chance to bury this title once and for all but then they can not really handle the pressure and bottled it..But they have the Champions league spot. So next season is a good time to start the fight afresh..

What a game for Lazio, incredible recovery from 3-2 to 3-4 in overtime.

I guess they still have a small possibility to go in the Champions League but Juventus will need to lose all the remaining 4 games, unlickly.

It was a very dramatic and valuable victory for Lazio. This victory, of course, keeps Lazio's chances of getting tickets to the European League next season. Now Lazio pushed back into fifth position with 59 points.

It was a productive day in the Serie A today. There were two games that ended with seven goals each. Napoli destroyed Sassuolo 6-1 and Lazio got a tough win against Spezia by 4-3 away. Spezia - Lazio was a really competitive one and I was mesmerized by the performance of each team. Spezia are a really interesting team as they sometimes play big against top teams of this league. But Lazio still managed to get the win they wanted.

The title hunt is almost to the end, the trophy is starting to show. Milan as the leader of the Serie A standings must not lose any more points, let alone lose, because Milan is only 2 points different from Inter in second position. Three points must be obtained from Fiorentina, because after the match with Fiorentina, Milan must face Verona, Atalanta and Sassuolo.
Inter loss to Bologna gave Milan an advantage, now Milan must not make the slightest mistake in the remaining four games in order to win the Serie A title race this season.

The race for the Serie title this season leaves Milan and Inter Milan, These two teams still have a chance to be champions at the end of the season. Milan, which is ranked first with a collection of 74 points, is only 2 points different from Inter Milan, which is one rank below it. Both teams from the City of Milan chose 4 matches remaining, Inter must not make any more mistakes like when they lost to Bologna, because if Milan loses just one game, Inter will return to first position.

Both teams have been absolutely unstable lately. AC Milan are of course the favourites, because they have more points. However, it is not a guarantee. Inter still have a strong squad, defeat to Bologna came through a blunder by the keeper. But otherwise they would still have only 1 point left from that game. I don't know the remaining schedule, but both teams can win and lose from anyone at the moment. In any case, it's still going to be a lot of fun.
