I think he should stay in Milan because he has achieved something with this team at this stage of his career and I believe it should be memorable for him. But we all know and agree that ibrahimović is a different type of character. So, I am not going to be surprised if he decides to play for any other team. It is going to be interesting to see when he is going to retire considering that he is really old right now.

AC Milan has a good traditional treatment and privilege to their legendary players. They said they give full rights to decide of staying or leaving to Ibrahimovic. I think Ibrahimovic will decide to stay in AC Milan and end his career there.

He has no longer too much time left for his career and in AC Milan, his contribution is well recognized by fans, club director board and he will not leave Milan to find another challenge in the end of his career. Next season, who knows Ibrahimovic will win his first Champions League with AC Milan even he won't be able to contribute a lot for them. It belongs to destiny. Let's see his decision and how AC Milan will perform next season.

Yes, I also believe this player should stay. and the fans also recognize his contribution. sometimes we often see that a player's contribution can get overshadowed by another but this is not the case here. 

I believe he will end up staying on the team and he should finish his career with this team. but considering that this is Ibrahimovich we are talking about I am not sure what he is going to do. But if he stays I believe it will be better for both him and the team.

It was a success in itself for Roma and the fans even though they deserved to win a bigger title than the European Conference League. But we deserve to congratulate them and Mourinho on their achievement.

AS Roma fans are chanting as they happen to be the first team to lift the European Conference League title. They won their competitor, Feyenoord in the finals. However, Roma is known to be a team that plays defensive game and they are very good at that. While, All credits goes to Jose Mourinho. Let's hope for Mourinho to put the club back on track, and probably compete for the Scudetto next season. Hopefully, Roma will do more better next season.

I agree with you. Although Ibra has played in only 23 of 38 matches this season. He has scored only 8 goals. However, when he is on the field, the players are in a mentally strong position. He can help the players to be mentally tough. Perhaps AC Milan will be interested in extending their contract with Ibra unless Ibra decides to retire.

AC Milan will indeed be busy in the upcoming transfer market.  The Rossoneri will strengthen their squad in order to compete in the Champions League next season.  AC Milan officials are indeed looking for a striker to replace two old names.  As is known, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud are not young anymore for AC Milan.  Divock Origi has reportedly agreed to join on a free transfer.  Lukaku is also a target but the high salary is a problem.  But I'm sure AC Milan officials will look for alternative ways to bring in players according to the team's needs.

They need to sign with a few new players to strengthen their squad. Ibrahimovic has completed his mission with his return to Milan. He mediocres his team, including young players.

Without Ibra and his firing mentality, Milan might need more than three seasons to change from an average team to a champions. I surprise to know Ibra had serious injury in this season but he delayed his surgery to fight with best he can do in order to win a Scudetto with Milan. A strong and true hero. A real legendary player in history of Serie A.

Lukaku played well in Inter Milan but will he join AC Milan? It seems Lukaku is very fitted with Serie A tactics and match intensity. He does not match with high intensity and speed of match in Premier League. Two failures in Manchester United and Chelsea to make this conclusion.

Origi is not a good striker for AC Milan in my opinion.

I think that lukaku is going to play for Inter Milan. And I believe that only adds to the problem of Milan.

I also agree that without Ibrahimović it is going to be really hard for Milan to defend their title.
Origi is not a top-level striker in my opinion as well. If Milan actually wants to defend their title they will have to make some changes.

Those characteristics that you listed are rather negative and it seems to me that they are poorly applicable to Ibra. He is charismatic and courageous, with a very high degree of self-irony (you don't take seriously these statements that he is the God of football, etc.?). His loud statements are not even part of the image, but just a show that he gives to all football fans

As Totti said after Mourinho came to Rome. He wish that he would have opportunity to work with Mourinho as a player. It has never happened. I don't know what Roma would have achieved if their coach had been Mourinho with their golden team.

Maybe if this was the case now Roma would have been in a prime or at least better than this considering their heyday was very good indeed. and Mou even though many people criticize because of his quirky style on and off the pitch, he is still a pretty good coach who can even bring some well-known clubs to glory and even though he's not as bright as a few years ago he is still "Special" One" for some circles.

what you say is true and he has the character as you said and seems like the Antagonist in a story
But on the other hand he is also the Protagonist for his teammates because in any case for several seasons in Milan his attitude is like an older brother who protects his younger brother when playing on the field and even he will advance first if the other players are disturbed.

AC Milan and Ibrahimovic have the title! And now comes Ibra with his injury. He had massive problems. For the last six months he had pain in his left knee. Half a year of pain and bad sleep. He trained very little and played only minutes not hours. But he has one target and now he can laugh about it.

Rumors currently circulating that Ibrahimovic is rumored to be retiring in the near future due to the injury he suffered. even though ibrahimovic is quite important for AC Milan this season because he is able to bring enthusiasm to other players on the field. but the current reality is that ibrahimovic has to be out for six months. He is currently really old for football and shouldnt be playing at all. Now with this injury i think he will retire for sure but with how his fighting spirit goes i wouldnt be surprised if he tries again once he recovers but it will take a miracle to get back into form honestly at that age

Zlatan is now 40 years old. Although his fitness is still very good. However, at the age of 40, he will not be able to play like a young man. However, he is still a very important player for AC Milan. When he is on the field, the players become more confident and their morale is strong. Milan will not be able to find his proper replacement now.

Motivation comes from his presence. As a result of knee surgery, Zlatan will miss the next 7-8 months. My best wishes for a speedy recovery for him. Best wishes for his next endeavor. I won't say there was no positive to take from the season from inter Milan prospective because for me they did just fine, they lost the league title with just two points,they won the coppa Italian cup, people are using harsh words on Simeone inzaghi but I think he did very well even the replacement of Romelu Lukaku and Hakim ( Dzeko and Driefries) did their best on there debut season,you can not ask more, just that there city rival AC Milan were very consistent.

I think that the Serie A has started to become better after Juventus' highly dominance has ended. Because when they were dominating the league, there wasn't any significant competition in the league. And this was really frustrating to me as those seasons were quite boring. But now, things have changed and I have been just enjoying a big competition in the league for two seasons. In fact, the previous season was under control of Inter after a point but there was still a different champion than Juventus at the end. And now, Milan made it.

I don't know how that feels to Hakan Calhanoglu after getting a ribbing from Zlatan at the parade party. Milan had great success after he moved to rival inter. that moment is used to prove that Milan is better without him. yes that's right, Ibrahimovic came with a promise and was able to keep it. Many laughed when Ibrahimovic said we would win the Scudetto again. However, Ac Milan have worked hard and shown that this team is ready to suffer to get results. And sure enough it came true. It's amazing. The last time Milan won, Ibrahimmovic was at AC Milan. 11 years later, Ac Milan won it and Ibrahimovic is back at AC Milan.

Although his contribution on the field is not optimal, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very influential for the AC Milan squad which is filled with young players.  Ibrahimovic has had a great influence because he has passed on a winning mentality to his juniors.  And Ibra has also proven his promise to give the best for AC Milan.  Ibrahimovic looks very emotional when celebrating the 19th Scudetto for the Rossoneri.  Ibra really really loves Milan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn't contribute much in goals and assists to have made AC Milan crowned Serie A title winner but he is been applauded because of the character and mentality he brought into the team. Before Zlatan came, the players were not this strong mentally. They are pretty good but their talents alone wouldn't have given them the title so all thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

I think this was the best serie A season in the last 7 seasons it was competitive and i don't think any of the top teams would complain about the ranking except maybe for inter who had a very good season as for the others i think they all ended up on a deserved spot.

He gets paid 7 million euro for basically not playing. He didn't play that much this year, he is going to miss out next 8 months, and he will not be %100 when he comes back neither, so that would be another 7 million as well. I know that they became champions, but just because they got some money doesn't mean that they should spend it like this.

For 7 million a year, they could have found someone that would be more ready and playing. Even if that player turn out to be not as good as Zlatan, which is a hard thing considering he is 40, I am sure that you could find someone for 7 mil a year that would be ready for all games, even if on the bench.

Yes, After successfully winning the Conference League, Mourinho stated that he was staying at AS Roma. For this achievement, the Giallorossi management must provide fresh funds to Mourinho to build a squad capable of competing for the Scudetto target next season. AS Roma officials and all their fans should be proud of the achievements of their favorite club this season.  

Roma seems to be the savior of the face of the Italian club. Because, Roma became the first Italian club to win the European trophy since Mourinho's Inter Milan last won the 2009-2010 Champions League. Now, The Special One has been able to bring back the prestige of AS Roma!

But given the age he is at and the good things he has achieved this season it would be wiser if he hangs up his boots and moves on to something other than a player.
Zlatan's role is indeed very good for Milan but there is one thing he has to think about which is not necessarily next season he will reach this achievement and indeed now is actually the right time for him to retire as a player.

I agree. He is almost 41 years old, it isn't the ideal age for a footballer. Although Ibrahimovic still has the motivation to play as a player, he must be aware of his current condition. It is better to consider a new profession as a staff or coach assistant, I think he has the ability for that profession. He has a lot of experience and has good verbal skills, he can be easier to motivate Milan players.

He really loves Milan, he has to finish his carrier in San Siro. He was a legend and the many sacrifices he made to make Milan champion such as bearing the pain after getting a knee injury, and keeping in the hold without surgery after Milan got the scudetto. but, he was 41 years old, and that age is very vulnerable to getting an injury and it will be difficult to run with young players. but, if he still has the spirit all the factors will be fade,
