I sincerely hope Napoli can keep up this momentum for the remainder of the season. If you haven't noticed, Napoli has been at the top of the goal scoring charts for the past couple of years. The fact that Inter are still outside the European zone in the standings means that Inter will need more effort to compete with Napoli. Their current achievement is still very good when compared to other big clubs but seeing from the previous 2 seasons it is also like that then it looks reasonable for now but it will be very different if they are still able to continue to be consistent in the next few games at least until the middle of the season. then maybe this will be a very good difference for Napoli because indeed if they stopped now it would actually just look the same as last season.

If you look at their head-to-head stats, they seem somewhat similar, but over the past few seasons, Napoli has been playing far better football than Sassuolo. Especially this season, they are still unbeaten in the league which is an incredible stat considering the Italian league has become quite competitive nowadays. Lazio lost their top 4 chance by six points last season. But now they are on a much better run. They are even in the competition for the league title. They have the strongest defense in the league as they have conceded only 5 goals so far. They are one of the top scorers at the same time. It is a perfect season for them at least for now.

However the key is always consistency throughout the season. I wonder if they will lose their focus and start a bad form at some point. Actually they aren't competing in the Champions League.
