I don't know what happened to Jose Mourinho's team, AS Roma, which actually declined when other teams showed good changes. I was one of the people who was impressed with AS Roma's performance at the start of the season, but it didn't take long for my impression to distrust them. 1 win in their last 5 matches is not a good result, but a very bad result in my opinion because they failed to get many points to boost their position in the standings. From their last few matches, I haven't seen anything special that will later differentiate them from other teams. Jose Mourinho had to rack his brains and find a suitable strategy for AS Roma, because from what I saw their strategy was running monotonously, you could even say his squad couldn't implement the strategy that was instructed.

I don't think it's a surprising result anymore, because last season also Jose Mourinho couldn't do much when the team's performance continued to decline. But, the fact that Italy is not participating in the World Cup, I believe it will reduce that impact a lot. It is true that the big clubs have players playing in the World Cup, even so the best Italian players remain in the clubs.

That injury did not impact their performance a few weeks after that but in long run, they felt the impact and has worse performance. Because Napoli did not have another striker with similar style of Osimhen. Other players in their system can not cover the absence of Osimhen weeks by weeks.

However, this season Napoli can give a much different result. There is a possibility that Napoli will making more points gap from Milan and Juventus with consistent performance. I don't really expect that Napoli will be able to continue their current form and expand their gaps with other clubs like AC Milan, Juventus and other clubs at top of Serie A. Because so far Napoli have perfect performance so that it is unrealistic to think they can maintain it in a whole season. Napoli's current success is inseparable from Osimhen's sharpness since they started this season, so it's no wonder why MU and several other big teams really want Osimhen and also the Napoli defender (Kim Min Jae). I agree, the trophy presented by Jose Mourinho is not the main goal, because their goal is an even more prestigious title like Serie A or even higher like the Champions League. However, AS Roma and the fans welcomed what was given by Jose Mourinho and made them believe that in the cold hands of Jose Mourinho, AS Roma would soon get an even better title.
I also don't think that AS Roma will easily fire Jose Mourinho after seeing AS Roma's performance which is far from good. Logically if they sell now, they will return to looking for formula again because some players left. Jose Mourinho must do something to boost Roma's position. The competition for the top spot in Serie A this season is very tight. If Mourinho doesn't make the necessary changes I think Roma might think of bringing a more suitable manager by next season.

Italy is not playing in the world cup. But that does not mean that all the Italian teams are going to have the players available. Because obviously there are a lot of players playing in the Italian League who are not Italian. So, obviously not all the clubs are going to have players fresh. Some clubs will have a few players getting tired and fatigued because of the world cup. 

Juventus will need to sign some players. They are currently playing well. So, if they can get some players in the team, it would be very helpful for them after the world cup. But the problem is they do not have enough money as far as I know. So I am not sure if they will be able to make any changes. Remember they could not sack their coach because they did not have enough money to do so.

There are still a lot of players in the world cup that came from serie A but probably not as much as other leagues I agree with that part.

I have to say there are a lot of leagues in the world that doesn't really have a lot of star level players, I agree that premier league, and la liga has them but when you look at it, ligue 1 has PSG with 3 or 4 great players and rest is just good players, they are good but that's it, and Serie A has a few teams that has 4-5 great players total and rest is just good, you can find that level of good players in Portugal or turkey or any other close level nation. So, it is those superstars that matters and many serie A superstars are in the world cup.
