That's an unexpected outcome. I wonder what the odds were originally on a Cremonese victory? You are correct, their main ambition this season isn't the coppa Italia, and i am not saying this because they have been eliminated from the competition, i know they would have liked to beat Cremonese yesterday, they didn't lose because they didn't want to win, they lost because Cremonese played a good game yesterday. But now that it has happened and Napoli are out, they can now focus on the Italian seria A championship, that is the trophy they want to win, it has been 33 years since they won it last, and they are about to break that curse. They are still in the champions league too, though i don't feel they can win it, but they are going to get to the quarter final, and maybe the semi final, but i don't think they can reach the final.

I think it's because Napoli have failed to maintain their form many times in the last few seasons, and that makes a lot of people think maybe they will do the same this season. Their defeat in a friendly match will not be a benchmark that they will show the same thing in the league, then the defeat to Inter Milan too I think it's because they were not too lucky to be able to score goals, because in actual play they also showed a good game, only they just can't score.
