It wasn't the kind of a game I expected to see from Roma and Milan yesterday but at least we watched some goals in the critical time period of the game. I would have waited for these teams to be more competitive as they are fighting for a spot in the Champions League. Maybe Milan players had their minds on the semi finals of the Champions League in which they are taking part.

But as they don't have a very big probability to win the Champions League title they had better keep their focus high in the Serie A while there aren't many games left. Getting a draw in an away game against Roma isn't bad but they could have performed better anyway.

Both teams played differently than usual, it was difficult for them to develop their game, and they found it difficult to penetrate the opponent's defense to find each other opportunities to score a goal. Interestingly, they both scored goals in extra time and made the game actually end in a draw. AS Roma was able to open the scoring first, but not long after, AC Milan was able to reply.

Roma have struggled but they have had no luck. I don't know what the Roma players were thinking when they were already ahead and with so little time left. I thought it was something ridiculous but Milan's goal came back purely because of the host's negligence.

Roma didn't defend well at all for that Ac milan's goal, it was too easy, they let Rafael Leao cross the ball too easily and they should have defended the back post better, Rui Patricio should also have done better and not allow the ball go in between his legs, that was the final seconds of the match and they knew how important the 3 points would have been to them, but they went away with just one.

Roma and Ac Milan both have 57 points, and Roma is in 5th, while Ac milan is in 4th position, Roma's desire to qualify for the champions league is still alive but they have to win most of their remaining games. If Juventus win their game against Bologna today they will be five points above Roma and Ac Milan, which makes the situation more difficult for Roma.

Even though there were only a few seconds left for the final whistle to be sounded but indeed this was negligence in the Roma defense which allowed a pass from a Milan player to make it easier for Saelemaekers to kick in front of him which was clear with a draw still said Milan had a little advantage in the final seconds.

With the remaining matches it will indeed be a bit more difficult for Roma they will also face some tough opponents going forward, Inter Milan, Bologna and Fiorentina can they get through the remaining matches for Roma? Still, the competition will be even tougher, and Inter Milan will definitely be chasing points.

Atalanta team managed a tough win away against torino and those three points allowed them to push forward into the sixth position past inter who now has no choice but to win so they can get back into the top four a draw will only allow them to take back their sixth spot but they will be facing lazio one of the best performing teams this season so this will be a tough game and can go either way.

Today's matches were hard. Roma and Milan one was pretty interesting in the overtime with the first goal scored by Roma in the first three minutes of the overtime followed five minutes later by Milan's one! Milan were lucky they could get a tie and get one point.
Atalanta got 3 points after defeating Torino 2 - 1. The results right now are good for Inter since once they win, they will be back in the 4th spot and Atalanta will lose its European spot.

The match between AS Roma and AC Milan was very interesting, both teams scored goals in the extra minutes of the second half. I thought that when I saw that AC Roma could score first, the match seemed to end in AS Roma's victory, but AC Milan was not that easy to give up, and they managed to score a goal 3 minutes later. This result doesn't change anything in the standings, and maybe this will be an opportunity for Inter Milan to be able to catch up.

This situation benefited Atalanta. At the moment, they have narrowed the gap between them to 2, both with Roma and Milan. If one of these teams loses points, Atalanta can beat them. The last minutes of the Roma-Milan match were really a gesture of breath. It was very nice that the match ended in a draw when Rome was going to win.

Milan can still share their concentration on the semi-finals of the UCL later with the league, I also don't want a draw, but both are equally strong and put in a great match last night so I'm amazed to see milan's quick goal replying to Roma's goal in just a few minutes, during their game played a goalless draw until extra time in the second half they could only score a goal.

I think milan still has hope of winning the UCL league this season even though many people are not convinced of that, therefore maintaining their position with a draw or win is the goal because the remaining matches in this season are not so many so they should be able to take advantage of the remaining matches with good result. Milan also seems to be getting serious about maintaining their current position, worried they will fail in the UCL later.

I agree with your thoughts on the match. The pace of the match was slow because both teams played without risk but also I think the pace of the match was slowed down by Mourinho's sense of football and tactical ideas. Since Mourinho prefers defensive football, teams playing with Roma often fall into these traps. In fact, Roma have a great squad of football players. I think Mourinho limits Roma's potential as he prefers defensive football tactics. Also, Milan failed to unlock the Roma defense in this match but I think Rafael Leao was the man of the match. He had a fantastic assist on Milan's goal.

Barcelona Vs Real betis Barcelona team was in great form they won the match 4-0. Barcelona is ahead of the highest point table in La Liga. In first place and their total points are 79 with Real betis winning the match increased Barcelona's points. Real betis is in the 6th position in the points table and their points are 49.

That match is more exciting in its second half with more chances for both clubs. AS Roma mostly won it with a goal of Tammy Abraham at the 94th minute but AC Milan successfully equalized it about 2 minutes later. This draw is not helpful for both clubs as they gave Inter Milan and Atalanta chances to reduce gap and Inter Milan can even take over the fourth position if they win against Lazio today. It is certainly not an easy task for Inter Milan as Lazio is a club at the runner up position but they have full reason to try it with their best.

In fact, Roma have a great squad of football players. I think Mourinho limits Roma's potential as he prefers defensive football tactics.

They have limited good players and they have to use players they have with very careful plan in order to avoid injuries. Like in the match with AC Milan, Dybala was reserved by Mourinho when he was not fully recovered and Roma needs him for Europa League semi finals two weeks later.

Juventus may be the biggest winners from the Lazio loss. Lazio is currently two points higher than Juventus, if Juventus wins against Bologna later today then Juventus will overtake Lazio in the second position.
Few weeks ago I thought Lazio has cemented their place on the second position but now they are about knocked down by a team that everybody thought would be struggling for the Europa league by now.  This is the drama of the Serie A this season. I always knew it was going to be interesting to see how the Serie A ends, adding Juventus to the mix just makes things more interesting.

There we go: the final match ball has finally arrived for Napoli after Inter turned the game around against Lazio. Inter deserved the win a lot more than Lazio today and even though Lazio is the strongest defense in Serie A, I can't even tell how many more goals Inter could have scored today. They have struggled to make use of their opportunities, but become very strong towards the end. Lazio was surprisingly passive and didn't really try a lot to go for a come back once they were down.

But this is going to a tough competition for the the qualifier rankings. There are now essentially six teams with realistic chances to make it into the Champions or Europa League. Inter will be playing against Roma and Atalanta. A lot of exciting games to come in Serie A.

This result has made Inter achieve a winning trend again in a row for the past two weeks and also made them move back up to 4th place in the standings.

It's now clear what will happen in Napoli's next match against Salernitana, with Lazio's loss to Inter making Napoli's chances of lifting the Scudetto imminent after this game ends in victory for Napoli. Considering the recent performance and the recent result of Ac Milan especially their performance against Napoli I was expecting to see Ac Milan winning this game against Roma and take the full three points from this game so they could secure their place in the fourth place of the table but right now Roma and Ac Milan both got 57 points.
