Today Lazio and Milan will open the new week. Milan have stumbled a bit in recent games, they haven't won their last three matches. They have conceded 8 goals in these games, which shows the weakness of their defense. They have conceded a lot of goals in general this season. They had chased Juve in the league but missed the opportunity to catch them after failing to win their last two games. They still have a chance to finish 2nd and they are in a comfortable position in 3rd place, with no team below them close enough to bother them.
Lazio on the other hand are having good and bad results. They don't have much ambition in the league, they are in the middle of the table but they have Bayern München game on their minds. I think that's where all their focus is. So I don't think they can prepare much for the Milan game.

In the last matches between the two teams, there has always been a winner, never a draw. And usually the home team have won. But I see Milan with the advantage today. Lazio's mind will be on the next game. Milan seems to have more appetite for second place in the league. At odds above 2.05, a Milan win is a risk worth taking to me.

Fairly, the game ought to end in a draw, bit the chances are very much slim. They'll be inflow of goals no doubt but for my prediction, just one from these teams would gain the 3points tonight. We'd only have to stay back and watch patiently to see which of the two teams would have a brilliant performance played out on the pitch tonight too.

 In the last five games for Lazio, they have been able to win three and lost two and they lost their very last to Fiorentina who currently are one point above them in 7th place and as they play hosts to AC Milan, they will want to put on a fight to at least secure points but it will be a tough tasj to achieve especially as their opponents are a very strong and formidable side who are in the top three of the Serie A table. It's safe to say this will be a difficult game for Lazio as Ac Milan are still smarting from the draw Atalanta forced them to during the week and they will be looking to get their pound of flesh from the hosts. If Milan really wants to pursue the runner up position in Serie A, they should be able to beat Lazio with a stronger effort because Lazio will be very strong competing at home, which usually makes Lazio's defense very strong and can make things difficult for Milan.
