We have a Roma - Juventus game four days later. The odds for 1x2 are like below:



I thought Roma would be favoured slightly honestly. This seems interesting. Of course Juventus are six points ahead of them. However considering the big fall in Juventus' performance I wouldn't expect to see them as the favourite here. Roma or draw has 1.49 odds... It looks tempting to me honestly.    Because they are facing a threat of losing their Champions League spot. They will have only a break of two days after the Leverkusen game maybe but I still don't think they would lose to Juventus home.

This is a fairly balanced and fierce match because I think both teams have almost the same quality.
I don't see Juventus' performance dropping sharply, in fact they are now slowly starting to return to their best performance after the current fierce competition to finish in the top 4.

The odds for Roma winning are bigger and indeed I think it is feasible because the chances of Roma winning this match are not bigger than Juventus. Now Roma is far behind Juventus and Bologna so the possibility of Roma finishing in the top 4 is quite small and realistically now Roma it is better to shift their focus to the Europa League stage, where they have reached the semifinals.

But for Sassuolo & Salernitana, they will most likely go to Serie B, especially Salernitana, they're not yet worthy of playing in Serie A and have to build a good foundation first.

Udinese's performance in their last few matches is actually quite bad. They lost 3 times and 2 draws. But I think Udinese and the 4 teams above them still have the chance to enter the relegation zone and play in Serie B. Udinese has the biggest chance of failing to survive in Serie A because they only have 29 points. But Udinese will face Empoli and Frosinone. Frosinone will also face Empoli next week. So I think it will be a deciding match for them who should play in Serie B next season.

Yes, I also didn't think Inter could fail in the UCL. Their winning the trophy has given them an extra opportunity to showcase themselves in next season's UCL contest. This season, they've done well in outdoing themselves and putting up a different and better side of the usual Inter Milan we all know. They're good at what they do at the moment and hopefully, they'll do better in seasons to come too.

 Comparing their performances in all seasons past up until now, it's been another remarkable height they've attained. Generally, this season has given football a different atmosphere being that teams now surprise everyone to being unpredictable on the pitch and until the final whistle is blown before a game result can be known. Just difficulty in predictions are the latest occurences but from the beginning, Inter even though outdoing themselves ensured that the initial hope of the trophy was kept high till it was won.

Udinese still has a big chance of surviving in Serie A. They only have a distance of 2 points from the 3 teams above them, Empoli, Frosinone and Verona. So I can't necessarily say that Udinese will go to Serie B next season, because their position can still change in just one week, as long as one of the teams above them loses, otherwise they can win.

The remaining 4 matches are enough to change their position in the standings, provided that they must be able to get point by point, even though it is not easy.

In fact, not only are the 3 teams still quite close, but there is still the name Cagliari who is above them with only a difference of 3 points. So with a position like that, whoever is more consistent will be able to survive the red zone.

Some teams are basically giving up, because their position is guaranteed, and some teams give up because they may move up one or two places, but nothing that matters. Even the top and bottom teams gave up because most of them knows where they will land, and the ones that doesn't, end up already showing their power so it doesn't look like much will change.

All in all, I still gamble in some other leagues because it looks like there is still some competition, but at Serie A, I decided that it is not going to be anything that will change much, so I am not really putting any effort or money into this.

I had the same impression at the beginning of the season and for quite a while I think Juventus kept up with Inter Milan quite well. But in the first half of the season everything was indeed fine and they had 46 points after 19 games, being 2 points behind Inter Milan. In the second half of the season they have gathered 18 points in 14 games... That is nowhere near the performance they delivered during the first half.

It looks like we don't need to worry about Juventus anymore. The season is coming to an end. Luckily they are still in the top 3 so they are still included in the UCL qualification. But it's really a shame, even in the last 3 matches, there was no win, only a draw, even against a small team they still couldn't show their best performance again. Yeah I said this one since a few weeks ago, there is a possibility they play abnormally I mean just to complete the match without any target. For now my attention is on Udinese who is in the 18th position and this team still has a chance to get out of the relegation zone, Udinese 2-3 points behind competitors and Udinese can still catch up, maybe 2 wins are enough to go up to a safe position. Bologna roo hasn't been a very tough team to actually deal with except for the weakness of Juventus in recent times, the depth of bologna is not as good as that of Juventus in comparison and i also think that strength wise they are supposed to not be on same level but then I've gotten to see that Juventus after their recent decline is trying to maintain a spot around the top four of which is actually shaky somehow but then they are most likely going to be able to maintain it if they can get at least a point from both Roma and bologna as these happens to be their last Seria A games this season.
