Juventus 1 - Roma 1: Initial reaction and random observations

I expected some similar results from this match. I thought there was a great chance of this match ending in a draw.
But I thought Roma was desperately going to go for a win in this match
because they have to win if they want to solidify their position as the fifth on the table.

Roma and Juventus have one goal for each and they came closely to one more goal for each with a headshot from Christensen and a shot from Chiesa. Roma tried to attack in last 15 minutes and created some opportunities for Abraham, Pellegrini but they could not score any more goal and had to accept only 1 point. They did not try best in this match because De Rossi gradually sent Dybala, Lukaku and Pellegrini out while some other important players like Mancini, El Sharawy did not play in this match.

Right now, Roma has played 35 matches and has 60 points. Atalanta, who is right below Roma, has played 33 matches and has 57 points.

So there is a huge chance for Atalanta to actually get ahead of Roma and get to the fifth position on the table. But that is not certain as well. We all know that almost anything can happen at this stage of the season.

By the way, Atalanta will play a match against Roma. That will probably decide who is going to be in the fifth position.

Roma are still obsessed with Europa League and try to beat Leverkusen in Germany and make a come back. They did not want to use their most important players in defensive and attacking lines for a match with Leverkusen next week.

De Rossi seemed to think that Juventus are strong enough to hold 1 point and he did not want to waste energy of his important players. By this, Roma got only one point and have to pray that Atalanta will not win next matches and make a flippening on table at very end match days of Serie A.

I was actually displeased with this results when I saw it because I had taught Inter were actually going to be able to win that game considering their strength and position on the table so far this season and the fact thst they have been able to scale through even tougher games and yet they were able to make good results, anyways since it didn't get to affect their productivity and position on the table I think it's such that we wouldn't have to make a deal out of it .

Inter still stays at the top of the table solidly and we definitely going to be the winners of the serie A this season. It's sad and yet funny that the victory against inter still didn't get to do much for Sassuolo as they are still very much likely to be relegated by the end of the season as they are still at the bottom of the table, some how I'm forced to think that it was an intentional act that inter lost that game because Sassuolo wasn't even in such a good form neither was their anything spectacular about their performance that day they were only lucky a d were able to hold on to the goal till the end of the game.

Sassuolo hasn't been of any good performance this season they have literally struggled all along and had just very few wins which I doubt it's upto ten this season which is a show of an absolute form of weakness from them of which they are most definitely not going to be able to get fixed this season and sadly they will not be in the serie A again by next season so they will have to get their selves fixed in the second division.

Juventus was performing well although on that match they didn't dominate ball possession but Juventus was playing with very aggresive and they gets several attempts to scores from Chiesa, Vlahovic and Kean but i think Roma have to says thank to Mile Svilar because as Roma goalkeeper his performance is very fantastic today and maybe if Mile Svilar didn't performing well then i am sure Roma will be lost and for Juventus they a bit unlucky from this match because in my opinion their performance is more better than Roma but unfortunately both teams have to satisfied to playing draw and this result is very unfavourable for Juventus because they only have 2 points above to Bologna and i think if Juventus want to secured one place for Champion League spots they have to bounce back immediately and Juventus upcoming schedules is not hard because they only fight against Salernitana and i think probably Juventus can win from that match

Juventus did not perform well in many matches towards the end of this season. I was also not surprised by the draw that Juventus achieved against AS Roma because Juventus did not perform optimally and I also have not included Juventus matches in my betting list for a long time because Juventus is not the club that I used to know as a strong club is now Juventus' defense and attack power is also weakening so I'm not sure Juventus will be able to survive in its current position.

I'm not following Serie A much but looking at the standing, Alatanta has played 33 games only while the other teams has played 35 games.
Currently standing starting from the 3rd position:
Juventus 66points (35 games)
Bologna 64points (35 games)
Roma 60 points (35 games)
Atalanta 57 points (33 games).
If Juventus earn 1 point only in their last 3 matches, while Bologna, Roma and Atalanta win all the remaining matches means that the standing will be as follow:
Bologna 64+9= 73 points
Atalanta 57+12 = 69 points
Roma 60+9= 69 points
Juventus 66+1= 67 points.
However if I look at the schedule of Atalanta, there are 4 Serie A matches remaining only.
So lets say there are 4 matches only and they won it all and keep the other scenario the same, means that Juventus will still out from the top 5.
To be safe, Juventus needs to earn at least 4 points in their last 3 matches IMO

For a team to be able to win the Italian Serie A title, the team must be consistent from the start of the season till the end of the season and considering the performances of all the Italian teams in the current Serie A campaign, we can authoritatively say that it is Inter Milan that's been consistent all season which is why they're the crowned champions of Italy.

If they continue with this inconsistent performance Juventus might eventually miss the champion slot. They have drawn four games at a roll which had made their position shaky. Draws are better than wins but it will be better to lose two games and win two than to draw four. This is because drawing four games will to four points while winning two and losing two will fetch six points. Atalanta is in 57 points so even if they win both outstanding matches, they will just get to 63 points which is below Juventus's 60 points. Atalanta might have to settle for Europa, they will only make it to the UCL if the four top teams drop points while they keep winning.
