Jerome Boateng's contract with Bayern Munich was not extended on 30 June. Now he has signed in Olympique Lyon. He will stay there for two years. The coach is former Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz.
This year, however, he will not play in the Champignos League against Bayern Munich, but in the Europa League.

He is a good defender and contributed a lot to Bayern and Germany but he is old and is not in plan of Bayern. I don't tease him but the most memorable moment about Jerome Boateng is when Messi dribbled and took Jerome down like being shot.

The problem with Boateng, unfortunately, is that he is prone to injuries. And that has have shown very often in recent years. Last season he was lucky and he didn't have any injuries. He himself says and hopes that he can play at this level for another 2-3 years. I wish him that.

Kasia Lenhardt (25yrs), former girlfriend of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, died in her Berlin apartment on February 9 2021. The lifeless body of the young girl was found by the Police, which is still investigating the affair. The love story between the two had ended on February 2.

Olympique Lyon with the Coach Peter Bosz for sure can need him with his skills , he is still a good player.

Serge Aurier is still a great right-back for most of the teams in Europe I believe. He is still only 28 years old and I think that it is still a young age for a back. He played in 27 matches in total at Tottenham in the last season. He got a performance with 2 goals and 3 assists. He was still very helpful for the team actually. But he is a free agent now. I heard that the Turkish team Fenerbahce are interested in signing him. Let's see where he will go.

Wolfsburg's performance this season have been impressive. I initially thought their match against Leipzig was a draw, because Leipzig is not a team you can beat easily. But Wolfsburg won with 1 goal. They seems very serious this season, and might win the Bundesliga title, but it won't be easy. Since they are big clubs, like Dormund, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. Which Wolfsburg have to beat in order to achieve the title. Although, they have won the title only once, that was 2008.

Really? Like do you even imagine that to be possible? I get that they are doing fine right now, but do you really believe that they could beat Bayern in the league and become champions? I believe that Bayern will become champions with 10+ point difference to their closest rival, which has been the case most of the time for the past 50000 years or so, (okay maybe not that long lol) and I believe that this year they will do better than they have so far and get back to top position and eventually Wolfsburg will start to lose games as well.

I get that people got hyped about these first results but is it justified to say that Wolfsburg could become champions looking at just few games so far? Bayern at least have a history that we can rely on when saying they may become the champions whereas Wolfsburg has none of that at all and I do not see it happening.

It's still early in the season so it's still very likely that the top of the table will be taken over by Bayern Munchen again as they usually do every season. I never believed a team like Wolfsburg could maintain its position at the top of the table if they met Bayern Munchen, Dortmund and some other good teams. Bayern Munchen have dominated the Bundesliga for a long time and they have been the strongest candidate every season to win the title. I don't like the condition of the league like this because I feel other team are only playing as a complement that has only a small chance of winning the title.

Wolfsburg - Leipzig game ended very surprisingly honestly. I was expecting goals from both sides in this game. These teams both are very capable of scoring normally. And many of their games ended up with lots of goals. Instead, we watched only one goal which was belong to Wolfsburg and it came in the 52th minute. Wolfsburg managed to keep the score till the end and won 1-0. Now, they are the leader with 9 points. But Leipzig got their second loss.

In that match actually Leipzig continued to dominate and control the ball and even Leipzig was able to create more shots on goal than the Wolfsburg players did, but Wolfsburg defense was quite strong making it difficult for Leipzig players to score goals, with this victory, Wolfsburg became the only one a team that was able to sweep away wins in the first three games of the Bundesliga this season and they now manage to occupy the top of the standings with a collection of nine points.

Wolfsburg already proved that they are really serious in this season. They had a really decent season last time also but this might be a sign for even better. However, it is still early to make assumptions about it also, I know. It is not easy to keep up a great form in the Bundesliga. It is valid for even Bayern Munich. But maybe Wolfsburg can finish the league in top 3 this time.

Even though Wolfsburg have played quite well and consistently in their three matches this season, this cannot guarantee that Wolfsburg will be a contender for the title this season, I think Wolfsburg should be consistent when they face a team as big as Bayern or Dortmund and  if their can win against these teams, of course, the motivation of the players will increase and the goal of champions might be realistic for them this season, I think Wolfsburg's real test will be Bayern Munich and Dortmund.

Both matches will be really delightful to watch. However, it is really hard to predict the results of these matches. Leverkusen will make Dortmund have really big difficulties here. Dortmund lost their last two matches here considering the head-to-head matches. Leverkusen won both of them by one goal. This time, I don't think that Dortmund will lose but they might struggle a lot to win. We can see goals from each side and a draw at the end maybe.
