If Leipzig would be playing in the german league the same as they have done yesterday against Real Madrid they would be for sure in the top 3 of the table.
Little bit sad that the last weeks they dont won there games and then in the Champions League they are playing very good and was just unlucky to make the draw.
Hopefully on the coming weekend against Gladbach at home they can win the game.

Leipzig's performance has been poor in recent times. Leipzig's players are not able to perform well against the big teams. The Leipzig team suffered consecutive defeats against Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. The team then managed to win against Union Berlin, but failed to win against Augsburg. Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase isn't off, they've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. Their game against Wolfsburg is scheduled for this weekend and it's technically a determinant of how good they've been.

 They've had scaly strides from the start of the season up till now, they've managed to scale through in the UCL, no one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now and then too. They're a good team that just needs to find back their balance, there confidence level has dropped big and corrections needs to be made soon enough too. Playing well and achieving a good result, as we see, are two different things, and by the way, I think Real could improve if it was needed. Leipzig's next game will be against Monchengladbach and I actually think the odds are too optimistic for Leipzig:

Mönchengladbach is certainly weak this season, but 1.34 after a difficult game with Real, even at home, does not look like good compensation for the risk.

Because the strength level of UCL and domestic leagues is different. I also don't think Neuer has long years ahead with Bayern Munich from now on. After one or two seasons the most I expect him to be their second option or maybe to leave the team. He might retire when Bayern Munich don't have anything left to do with him as well. For now I think he is still performing decently.

Despite being injured for a long time he is still showing his quality. But is he like old Neuer we have known? I can't say that honestly.    After a point I'm curious about who their main goalkeeper will be. Peretz is their new transfer for example. The only good thing about this situation is that Bayern Munich will  play against Bochum at Sunday. They should definitely win that game. If not, it will become very difficult for Tuchel to continue as Bayern Munich coach. The people in charge are already now only talking about the current coach to sit on the bench in the next game.
