Bayern seem to be in real trouble... If they lose today, Tuchel will definitely have problems with the further training of the team... They need to score at least two goals in the second half and not concede in order to win... Judging by the first half it will be difficult to do that...

Unexpectedly, Bayern Munich actually experienced ups and downs. in the 3 matches they played, one in the Champions League, there was not a single positive result for Thomas Thucel's squad. the match against Bochum, they should have won. but what happened was the opposite. with the absence of several players, Bayern seems to have lost its strength. In this match, Thomas Thucel's team had to lose for the third time in a row. even though Bayern Munich actually controls ball possession, total shots, technique, the fact is that this alone is not enough. in the end, Bayern collapsed at the home of their rival team Bochum. this defeat was a major blow for Bayern, and was what Leverkusen had been hoping for. thus, at least for now Leverkusen is in the safe zone with a lead of 8 points. well, the situation certainly won't be pleasant for Bayern Munich. whose dominance has the potential to be broken by rival teams. In fact, Leverkusen was not initially favored to be at the top of the Bundesliga standings. I doubt Thucel's position will be safe with Bayern Munich. even if, for example, Thuchel was able to reverse the situation. however, it is very likely that the club management will consider and look for an ideal replacement.

I count 22 Bundesliga matches for the 2023/2024 Bundesliga season and Bayer Leverkusen has been unbeaten in almost all of them (4 draws recorded so far).

Today, I had the ML bet on Bayern when they were 1 goal down (scoreline was 2-1)and I really thought they'd equalize and win the game since the odds looked attractive compared to pre-match. What happened? Upamecano delivered another red card again and put his team at a disadvantage. It's beginning to look very bad for Tuchel because he has to win the next game. If Bayern lose at home in the UCL to Lazio, Tuchel will come under extreme scrutiny and possibly lose his job.

After Leverkusen managed to beat Bayern Munich, their chances of winning the Bundesliga trophy increased drastically. Now Leverkusen leads the standings with a difference of 5 points from Bayern Munich, the remaining Bundesliga matches are 12 more matches, it is possible that Leverkusen unbeaten record will continue for a full season. If the scenario goes according to predictions, it would be very interesting to see the Bundesliga have a new champion, after Bayern Munich dominated it for more than a decade, and the way Leverkusen broke that dominance was very impressive.

So far Thomas Tuchel squad has experienced 2 defeats and 4 draws. This indeed indicates that they are in unstable performance to defend the championship trophy this season, and their biggest challenge ahead in trying to overtake Leverkusen is still quite difficult. On the other hand, for Leverkusen their toughest challenge in the future is facing Dortmund, that is the final test of their consistency in maintaining their unbeaten record, if they manage to beat Dortmund or play a draw then it could be said that Leverkusen will become champions this season.

Dayot Upamecano received a red card for the second consecutive match for his team Bayern Munich when he was sent off today at Bochum and for a defender with his kind of experience, I expected more from him. Bayern Munich third defeat in their last three games is definitely their worst run of form since Thomas Tuchel took over the managerial position at the club and just like I said earlier on this thread, the German manager might just be shown the exit door from the club anytime soon.

Bayer Leverkusen are currently leading the German Bundesliga table with eight points and are still unbeaten in the league as well so I think it's almost impossible to stop them from winning the German league title at the end of the season of they can continue with their current form

The most interesting thing is that they have no defeats at all this season in all tournaments: 6 wins in the Europa League + 4 wins in the German Cup. If I remember correctly, they had one (or two?) matches left to break the eternal (as it seemed) Bavaria record. Their next 2 games will be with Mainz and Koln, I don’t think that these teams are capable of beating such Bayer.
I can assume that the title quotes should now be somewhere around 1.2 for Bayer and 5.5 for Bayern?

It just keeps getting worse for FC Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel. From my personal view, it just can wait to see another team lift the Bundesliga trophy, especially a team like Bayer Leverkusen. For so long, Bayern Munich have monopolized the Bundesliga while at the same time killing off their top opponents by buying up their key players.
This made the league so boring where one could predict who was going to lift the trophy at the end of the season even just after 5 matches.

Bayern Munich have not been on the best run of form, but Bayer have been outstanding all season, just outstanding. In Bayern's  best form, they push this team hard but I still see Lerverkusen winning it in that scenario; with this current Bayern side, Leverkusen definitely win it.

The interesting thing is that I used to think Bayer Leverkusen was centered on Victor Boniface to deliver the goals but I was totally wrong. They beat Bayern Munich + Leipzig and Sturggart comfortably without his services. Given how good Xabi's team has been this season, I'm beginning to think that they would give Liverpool serious run for their money if they happen to get placed together.

Dortmund are the ultimate bottlers and for once, I'm sincerely happy that Bayer Munich dominance is coming to an end. And also the fact that Bayer Leverkusen has been one of the best teams to place bets on this season. Consistent returns throughout.

I think things will really not go well with him if the game should in this score and they lose finally,  I doubt if they can score two goals again because the home has rested enough and they have been motivated again by their coach following the interruption they encountered in the game as a result of crowd disturbance, Bayern Munich can only score one goal here and that will see the current league leaders extend the gap to 7 points but if they eventually lose rhe game then Leverkusen will be 8 points ahead of Bayern Munich.

At this stage, I've lost hope in Bayern Munich's chances of winning this season's Bundesliga trophy. Their current string of poor performances indicates they're unlikely to succeed. It's disheartening to see a team once contending for the Bundesliga title now struggling, especially after losing two consecutive games. Meanwhile, their opponents seem to be consistently achieving victories, widening the gap between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen to 8 points. Given Bayern Munich's recent struggles, it's questionable whether they'll even qualify for the next stage of the Champions League.Additionally, the increasing number of red cards the team is receiving raises concerns about discipline and cohesion within the squad. It's disappointing to witness such a decline in performance from a team with such high expectations.

actually when bayern munchen meet leverkusen and lost the bundesliga title race was over. bayern munchen has been difficult to compete with leverkusen for the championship. in addition to this opponent bochum even lost. because leverkusen has been consistently difficult to slip or lose in matches in the bundesliga.

All of Bayern Munich's current downturn started after losing to Leverkusen, they had difficulty recovering from the defeat to Lazio and now they are Bochum whose player quality is clearly far from Bayern Munich. This defeat further ensures that the Bundesliga title belongs to Leverkusen because with a difference of 8 points it seems very difficult for Bayern Munich to catch up.

I think this is all Tuchel's fault. He is constantly making the team worse, if this continues, Tuchel's days will soon be over at Byaern Munich. Xabi has a complete squad which is nit dependent on any individual player, they have quality everywhere in players like Florian Wirtz, Grimaldo etc, but most importantly, they function as a unit to get the job done.

Bochum really surprised us because they are one of the teams that often concedes a lot of goals when facing Bayern munich but in today match Bochum managed to win the match against Bayern munich and also taught Bayern munich a valuable lesson not to underestimate them. With this victory, Bochum managed to climb up to 11th in the standings and their position is getting better because they have managed to move away from the relegation zone.

From Bayern Munich side, this defeat means they failed to get close to Leverkusen in the standings because this week Leverkusen is 8 points ahead of Bayern Munich who are in second place. As you said, it might be true that Bayern Munich dominance will be broken by Leverkusen this season. Bayern munich are starting to lose their form because unexpectedly they have lost 3 times, 1 match in the Champions League and two more matches in the Bundesliga.

I think with what is happening now, in terms of probability, it looks like Bayern will still be very troubled in pursuing and trying to compete with Leverkusen in the race for the trophy in the Bundesliga but when saying Bayern's hopes are over I think it's still too soon to be able to conclude now.
But with the defeat that Bayern suffered again this week, it actually makes the situation more complicated for now.
Currently Bayern are 8 points behind Leverkusen even though there are still 12 matches in the rest of the season but still things like this are sometimes not a guarantee.

What I want to know now is what steps the current management will take against Tuchel because by looking at his current performance, honestly I think there should have been quite decisive action just like Bayern did to Nagelsmann last season.

Bayern Munich have a wrong coach this season, many people were judging Tuchel based on his past successes and records, and many people were thinking that Chelsea made a wrong decision as they sack him but it has appeared as the right decision even though they are yet to get good coach that will lead the team to success.
Bayern need another coach next season because they have individual players that can lead team to glory, but because his poor selection, they couldn’t even get consistency in the Bundesliga talk more of Champions League, but his team deserve to be favorites for Champions League, but due to his poor selection and his old age coaching experience, they are not favorites because Tuchel cannot lead them to the right path.

Bayern Leverkusen is now eight points clear, and are yet to be beaten in the Bundesliga competition. They remain the only team in the European top leagues that are still unbeaten in their League, Alonso might go the same as Arsenal Wenger to win the League unbeaten.

It is my belief that Tuchel is doing a lot of experimentations with his tactics and that is why the team is currently struggling because the Tuchel I know when he was in EPL had more better tactics IIRC.  Like I said, the next game and the one against Lazio in the champions league are all must-Win. otherwise, it's game over.

Harry Kane came all the way to win a title but only got dragged into another mess of a team. It's just unfortunate for him. A striker of his caliber should have won plenty of trophies in his career so he'd have something to show. Oh well, I think the Bundesliga is out of reach for Bayern Munich this season. This means they have to double their UCL efforts.

As I said some several posts ago here that Bayern should not be relied to be betting on them as all the psychological pressure is on them and they showed tonight that they could not bear such a pressure and I also conclude that in here they completely lost any single glimpse of hope that they may had to win the Bundesliga this year,they simply have not been consistent.

Leverkussen needs just to not be self complacent and I am pretty sure with their performance they are going to have an easy win of the Bundesliga title during this year,they just need to not underestimate any remaining games until the end of the season.

I really don't know what's wrong with this Bayern team, because they have everything in that team, but their performance have really been below the standard required for a team like Bayern.

Right now I think that the league title is really far off away from them, but nothing is impossible, anything can still happen, but they need to start winning games back to back for them to stand a chance and capitalize on any slip from Leverkusen.

In football nowadays, the bad performance of the team is always placed on the manager, so I see tuchel being sack between now and the end of the season because his performance as a Bayern Munich manager have really been terrible during his short stinct at the club.

Last season, Bayern Munich were embarrassingly eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by Manchester City in the quarter finals of the competition and had to win the German Bundesliga because of the fact that Borussia Dortmund failed to win their last league game of the season. However, Bayern Munich were somehow pardoned because they failed to sign a striker who will do the works Robert Lewandowski was doing at the club but this season, they have in the squad a Harry Kane that's regarded as one of the most prolific strikers in the world and despite his impressive goalscoring run this season, Bayern Munich are currently either points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen as well as trailing by one goal to Lazio after the first leg of their round of 16 tie in the UEFA Champions League competition.

I don't think Bayern Munich boss have a good excuse to give at the moment and that's why he's likely to sacked before the end of the current season

Bayern Munich is now on with series of poor performance which will definitely cost them all the trophies they could have possibly had this season, they are really poor with their performance that I almost doubted if they were the team actually playing against their opponent because Monza isn't a team thst should stress Bayern Munich.

Tuchel is very much likely to loose his job by the end of this season because I doubt if Bayern Munich will be ready to keep up with this kind of performance long enough into next season because they are definitely not going to tolerate this for this long considering they have already been threats on his job all along so I'm very much in doubts if his job will survive this season. Bayern Munich lost to Monza in an embarrassing loss today, at the time when I taught they were going to get an equalizer so it doesn't look like they had a really bad game, they conceded another goal again and lost.
